Bravi! I really liked this. The stage was small, but the singers made everything work well. Some very good interpretations, I particularly like the young lad. I'm grateful to be able to enjoy this Puccini's masterpiece, which is still funny and enjoyable.
A superb cast, orchestra and production close to ideal. Who is the marvellous Schicchi? He has a great career awaiting him. A good comic actor with a treasurable voice.
A lovely little production. The Lauretta has fabulous qualities! A big, rich voice, and she doesn't force the top making it too heavy! lots of space and those top notes just ring out! I feel sorry for the Rinuccio. A small voice, and this is clearly a very big sing for him, and you can see this from the huge amount of effort he has to put in to even sing it. He has to compete constantly against the orchestra and against the Lauretta. I feel he could work on focusing the voice a bit more, and thereby achieving more of that 'tenor steely' sound. The kind of sound that's going to carry to the back of an opera house. Also, can we just appreciate that the orchestra sound great!!
Loved it. Remarkably well sung and the orchestra was excellent - an unexpected little treasure.
Che spettacolo magnifico. Un perfetto equilibrio tra dramma e umorismo.

Lol and emotions, beautiful performance...bravo!
Excellent performance!
Wonderful! I enjoyed this immensely! If only they had kept the surtitles at the top of the stage in shot so we could read the English translations.
If only…
Bravi. Bella l'opera . Bravo Puccini.
