Schubert Impromptu Op. 90 No. 1 in C Minor D. 899

This is the first in a set of 4 impromptus (D. 899) published by Franz Schubert in 1827, the year of Beethoven's death. The piece has some classical aspects to it, but it also exhibits some characteristics of the romantic period. This recording is by Grant Smith.
