Great pictures indeed! This Bus is pushed all over the media like no other car. Volkswagen did bring a micro bus study in 2001 with about the same design! It was also shown at the Detroit car show that year. Nothing is new about this design. It took VW only 23 years and change to electric motors. But best in propaganda as we know!

I am pretty sure the IDBuzz would not pass the US criteria. Anyway, IDBuzz is way overprized, it´s a niche car here in EU, together with the T7. Much lower sales compared with former T5, T6/6.1 and VW Sharan.
@@waldemarthecat7611 It would do great. Nothing special about US tests. Eu has done 40% frontal overlap test from the 90's going 40mph. IDBuzz is is now sold in US and VW know it has to meet EU AND US tests.
@@waldemarthecat7611 One of the US tests in a 10 % overlap! The EU tests I believe 40 % overlap. Some cars including Audi did not do well with the 10 % test a while ago.
@@waldemarthecat7611 I don't understand how being a niche vehicle is relevant to safety. I've already seen several IDBuzz on the roads here in Texas. Europe doesn't allow cybertrucks, and we do, so I am not inclined to believe that the US is somehow more strict on vehicle safety.
An impressively strong vehicle. With all that weight from the batteries it makes to crash test vehicle go backwards! I wouldn’t want to be in the other vehicle in a collision !
I love cars, I thank the engineers and manufacturers, for making sure that vehicles are built that are always safer, always more cutting edge thanks to those who invented the car 😍😍😘😘😘😘😘😘🤩🤩
Imagine a front impact in a Microbus/Type 2. You’d lose your kneecaps and probably your femur if you’re in the front seats. They sure are fun to drive though.

Why wouldn't it? It will be sold in the U.S. next year and that means it will have to pass the small overlap test. The ID.4 is based on the same platform and that did very well so I have no doubts the Bus will do well too
I am still missing the small overlap crash test- video! Can’t find it! Then I would be happy to buy a Bus; up till now the Volvos 60 and 90 are safer, have a look at the videos, please, very soft!
The driver-surrounding airbag, showing during the side impact, is really impressive!
Absolutely my thoughts as well! Really smart for protecting passenger to passenger contact!

impressive demonstration, certainly that the electric motors serve as brakes during emergency braking phases
Thanks for your comment
i would bet, that without additional weight of battery etc, same ice buzz with same brakes would stop faster.

It's not really overpriced, you can get the base variant for less than 50k€. Which is reasonable for a VW bus.

better then the cybertruck XD

Well remarked. Third law of Newton.
Wow. Seems super safe.
The most versatile electric car.
Very impressive.
Wow so beautiful cars ...we want more development in cars in doors and body
I agree too
Could be better.
how they test the systems in the end? is someone driving the car is it on its own?
O ciclista se ferrou!
Thanks for comment
NICE !
Thank you! Cheers!

No knee airbags? 😮
VOLVO nr 1 🥇🏆🇸🇪
J'aime beaucoup ce véhicule dommage qu'il n'existe pas en version thermique diesel 4x4 , je l'aurais volontiers acheté !
that thing is a tank!!
the fact that it stops for everything except cyclists is the reason i'm going to get one

you know you will still buy it even after seeing that dummie cyclist got caught as long as your the one alive with bunch of airbags to protect you.
İD Buzz ask to 6 stars. 5 stars are for other cars.
Good car, but grossly under-produced
manufactured scarcity
I think you mean over-priced.
@@brian5o certainly agree, just corporate greed
It's a brand new vehicle so they do a limited run to make sure they get all the bugs worked out before they do a mass production
😮
Just don't ride a bike in front of it and you'll be fine
None of todays cars can beat VW T2B NONE!
When they will do these tests with batteries in, or replaced with same weight, maybe it will mean something...
Thanks for your comment
Batteries are not removed for safety tests.
How do you think the car is driving without batteries?

😂Moin vw Bus no go
But it can’t manage the small overlap crash test! Very dangerous!

Who does want this expensive car?
I would prefer this before a cybertruck. These are cool, the CT looks like a bed pan.
They are nice
Também não tem frete e uma fatia mal feita num carro
These test are better
You are welcome
