Did you ever read The Fairy Rebel by Lynn Reid Banks? Your romper is giving me vibes from that - the titular fairy can magically create her own clothes with a wave of her hand, and she makes friends with a human who shows her fashion magazines and she starts making more creative clothes, but always in shades or pink & purple.
I've read that book! It's one of my favorites.😊 This would be a perfect outfit for the main fairy character. It's modern fairy-core! I don't know if that's a thing but it's the best way to describe it.
I have not read it but that sounds right up my alley, I'm definitely going to check it out!!!

I'm loving this romped so far but had to jump in and say a big YES to baked oarmeal! Growing up, the texture of oats made me gag....still kinda does. I can only eat so much before I but a wall and can't eat another mouthful....but mom got a recipe for baked oatmeal in the 90s from an Amish woman at a restaurant she went to and man, I love that stuff! My kids love it, too. So, so good! I made some last week!
Yes! I got this recipe from my mom & she said it's an Amish recipe too! SUCH a better alternative to regular oatmeal

Yeah I've tried overalls... And it's a LOT of hassle to pee. I have to take off my sweater, to then take off my straps, and then take off my pants... Ugh so many steps. And now my top half is cold while I watch videos on the toilet. 😂 So an attached romper or jumpsuit is a no for me. This is a cute option for the look without the hassle though.
I'm going to turn at least one of my pairs of overalls into normal pants. I will get much more wear out of them that way. Better than them waiting in my closet forever.
YES it's the hassle for me in public restrooms. I tend to just wear my overalls around the house nowadays (or short outings lol)
