CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Drax (Treat Williams) demonstrates the skulls' ability to combine powers and point to the location of the third remaining skull on the map.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
The first superhero ever, created by Lee Falk in 1936, gets another shot at movie stardom 60 years after achieving fame in comics and serials. Billy Zane stars as Kit Walker, who discovers that he's the 21st in a line of purple-clad African superheroes known as "The Phantom" or, to superstitious Bengalla Island natives, "the Ghost Who Walks." When he's not fighting the evil Singh Brotherhood with his faithful wolf Devil and white horse Hero, The Phantom lives in the hidden Skull Cave. Kit discovers that Xander Drax (Treat Williams), a slimy industrialist, is plotting to take over the world by uniting the three long lost magical Skulls of Touganda. So he travels to New York, where he finds allies in crusading newspaper publisher Dave (Bill Smitrovich) and his niece, Diana (Kristy Swanson), who's also Kit's ex-girlfriend. Kit and Diana tackle Drax's forces, including the conflicted Sala (Catherine Zeta-Jones), in a quest for the Skulls that brings both sides back to Bengalla for a showdown. The Phantom's mixture of elaborate stunts with liberal doses of tongue-in-cheek humor was characteristic of screenwriter Jeffrey Boam, whose previous films included Innerspace (1987) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).

Cheesy over the top yet I still love this damn gem of a film
Rest in peace Treat Williams
The movie is so fun especially because of Richard “Treat” Williams. To describe his acting in his own words “Yes! Amazing! Amazing! I LOVE THIS!”
Man, I love chessy 90s flicks. They are much more enjoyable than today's crap that tries to take itself too seriously.
Man, I haven't seen this since I was a small kid! And for quite some time I didn't read anything else but the phantom comics.
I think it's time for a rewatch.
0:48 SHOW ME THE POWER !!! ,SHOW ME THE POWER !!! ... I LOVE THIS !
I so love that line to death !!!
...wow.
William Hiers I’m surprised no one’s made a meme of it yet.
The way he said wow....lol
Even Treat Williams himself later admitted that this movie was ridiculously over the top.
A bad guy with a high voice is never that convincing. Eccentric at best.
Still fun. :D
That's odd he said he had fun doing this movie
I liked Treat in this.
Billy Zane enjoyed it.
That's the charm of the movie. It's not meant to be serious, only a seriously fun bit of Saturday morning comic strip entertainment.
It sure was lucky that there was a map in the room for the skulls to point to.
The clothing fashion back these days.
So cool.
I used to watch this movie so many times. 90's golden classic
RIP Treat Williams
Excellent movie
Those skulls do love destroying their windows
Man, I remember seeing the commercial for this where a guy basically says "break windows" and it happens. I was like 6 and it freaked me the eff out.
A fellow collector huh? Just like when Billy Zane said in his other movie, The Tale from the Crypt: Demon Knight. Haha
Treat Williams is awesome in this movie
I love this
Treat Williams is clearly having a lot of fun here
It's Richie Aprile but he doesn't have the Jaaaaaaackeet
He gave it away to Tony already...soon he was disrespected!
To say Treat Williams' acting is over the top here is to assume that you can actually SEE the top from where he is. RIP Good Sir.
The Phantom/Kit Walker
(The 21st Phantom)
Cal from titanic
como consigo el fantasma que camina
I still want to know what would have happened if that map wasn't there.
Treat’s performance in this movie is a monument to overacting.

What power?
The power to cast palm tree shadows, shatter stain glass windows and point lasers
@Dr0dd’s-comment “What power?”:
He’s talking about the power of the Skulls-of-Tuganda.
according to the book Kitt (or Kit; i-dunno which is the-correct-spelling) Walker read in the-movie, “the Skulls of Tuganda. one made of Gold, one made of Silver, and one made of Jade. when harnessed together, the 3 skulls form a force more-powerful than any weapon_or_high-explosive known to Man*”.
*(ie. Humankind)
each skull has “precious-stones where the eyes should-be” (another quote from the-movie). the Silver skull has Blue eyes, so i’m hypothesizing those to be Blue Sapphires. the Jade skull has Red eyes, so i’m hypothesizing those to be Red Rubies. the Gold skull has Green eyes, so i’m hypothesizing those to be Green Emeralds.
Wow
❤️👌❤️👌❤️👌❤️
الفانتوم محمد😂
God, this movie is so bad.
MasterQ 19 No one cares
@@lehah4333 Amen. It's really awesome
