The attitude of Filipinos being so hospitable and friendly is a respite and consolations to Jay and Sacha because in other countries helping one another in times of calamities and the hyper attitudes of people are toxic that ads to miseries.
The BRP Ang Pangulo (The President) was converted into a hospital ship and it is on rotation going to Dinagat, Siargao and nearby provinces that has limited access to medical help. It actually stayed on Siargao the most and it was there since December 22.
Good morning. New subscriber here, from Philippines living here in London. Just found your vlogs because of typhoon odette. Hope you all doing well, praying for the recovery of the town.
It's amazing how everything is running smoothly with the help, water and the electric wires are being fix. I think it's because of all the vlogers, uploading information about the need in the places like Siargao. Actually we have a Filipino station here in California that advertised way to help the victims of the super typhoon Odette. It's great to see Sasha back to her normal self and for Story's influencing happy personality. Thanks again for your constant reporting and inspirational words.
Sasha and Story both have great smiles. That water tank sure is a huge help for your daily needs and you no longer have to carry water from the well and on top of that, it's free from heaven.
Your smiles, positive outlook and kindness are superbly admirable despite the aftermath of devastating typhoon. And, your presence there brings so much positive vibes, not only to us your viewers but to the whole community there in Siargao. Actually, through your channel, we are more updated with the developments there--the restoration and rehabilitation going on in your community. Siargao is an island which is kinda isolated compared to Cebu, which was also hardly damaged. Thanks very much Jay, Sacha and Story for continuously inspiring us with your videos. Your resiliency, generosity and kindness make us Filipinos so proud to have you in our country. You must granted permanent residency in our country. God bless your family and stay safe and well.🙏🤗👏
Positive Vibes don't do much to help those that are in serious need of help. We have not seen either one of these two help anyone that have lost everything. While they hide in their house and cry over a broken window.
@@Hannahcode1 OMG! It doesn't mean they are not helping in their own way! They already said, the best way they could help was by putting out to the world what is happening in Siargao. After all, they could have just left and found more comfortable surroundings somewhere else. Why do you think, having no electricity or running water is making them hide in comfort in their house? They're only human so of course they should cry over a broken window! They're still human, should they should be able to try to look for something positive despite their surroundings like trying to find a little comfort in finding the food that they used to enjoy around Siargao at least... You also don't know it, but their supporters have raised over 200K pesos and they never wanted a single cent from it but opted to have their landlady (admin of their facebook supporters page) distribute the money to their community's most vulnerable elderly and kids through DSWD. So really, so nice of you to be so judgemental when you don't really know the whole story!
Oh Jay, that's a lovely moved you made for our youngest vlogger Story....I really appreciate what you and Sacha is doing with our Story.....her creative side always shows....love your smile Story....my life is must lighter when I saw your smile and heard your laughter too.....hello Poppy.....thanks 8mfh for sticking it out with us....take care and stay safe always....God bless.
One thing I discovered about your family now is that you’re more involved with your landlord since this typhoon Odette came. There was a medical emergency that needed a family member to be picked up by the ambulance and you drove your land lady’s car so they can go back home to Pilar since you said you live an hour away from General Luna. That’s good Jay, volunteering to drive her car is what is helping to one another esp. in times of need. Doing it means they can rely on you when things get bad. There are 4 or 5 medical clinics in the island ( not that big ) but they are all destroyed or damaged from the typhoon. Aside from the sports complex, there was a plan to build a big medical center in the island which would have started this year. It was in the news when the sport complex was inaugurated few months ago. So, I’m sure they will push through with the building since it’s really needed to serve the people of the island
I hope the design of the proposed hospital can withstand a 300kph wind and 20meters high tsunami. Should be a dome like concrete roofing and should be located at the highest elevation of Siargao islands
Hi family, you all are in my thoughts. I pray everything will come together for everyone on the island. Especially your basic needs, Story is like sunshine everyday. I will continue to watch your vlogs without skipping adds. Also just purchased a organic tote bag. If all the viewers who can afford it purchase from their online stores. I believe it will be a great support for this family. God bless 🙏🏽❤️
Hello J, Sacha, Story, and Poppy! Thank you for staying and helping out. You are part of their lives and their part of yours. I hope you will get your permanent residence in the Philippines. Not like others they can’t think outside the box they just leave. I commend you guys! Love from Sacramento, CA.

And slowly you are doing a great job of adapting to being a Filipino, that is being resilient. I'll be honest. I unsubscribed to all the other RUclipsrs long before this. And I kept my subscription with you because I felt you were the ones who were genuinely interested and truly invested in making a life here. From the time you first moved in to the time you went through all that trouble to get Eden reunited with you. To this moment now. Very glad you are supporting local business slowly again. That's how we do it. Even in my area when we got hit by calamity. Always we support small local business to help them growing again. You get it, my friends. You will do very well. And you've already survived the worst. You got this.

Your daughter is so cute and funny about her imaginery cell phone signals, even made me laugh! I love your vlog and my wife is from the Philippines but I haven't been able to return since crappy Covid-19 hit the Philippines due to Quarantines and other issues with it. We had wanted to return this year but not looking like it will happen either, sucks! Well best of luck in your recovery, sorry your house got damage from the Typhoon, I can only imagine how hard that must be, God Bless!

When the storm from 2020 came in the Bicol Region, the damages weren't that bad but the river over flowed. Our part of town wasn't the one with the flood, but it took 1 month for the power to come back. It just shows how General Luna City officials care about their citizens unlike Bicol. Recover soon and happy vibes!!!

Hi guys love to see you smile most of the time. We admit that progress is slow but thanks to people outside the island they know your needs and they are coming. Please protect yourselves as well specially when you are out, omicron virus is now in the Philippines. Stay safe
One day at a time! You guys are amazing! Stay strong! That’s a good thought about having emergency clinics in Siargao. In the future , maybe you can collab with Happy Islanders , Andi may have some connections for a project like that. God bless you guys!
Thank you for helping Siargao, hope God Jehovah will help and protect you there, stay strong and healthy!!
Was wondering if you guys and Papang's family were able to get vaccinated.
Keep stronger heart family ! We loves you and praying for your safety and God's guidance and protection.
Seeing you more better and let's just pray that everybody will get more help..be strong and keep positive in everything that you do..God is watching 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Thanks very much for your vlogs! You radiate positivity and resilience - an inspiration to everyone! And grateful to hear you say Siargao as "our"island. God bless us always!
Your videos kept me updated how Siargao place were ruined by the typhoon Odette.
Watching over here in Abuyog Leyte Philippines.
Diin ka sa Abuyog?
@@rhinarudas8658 town proper, ikaw?

Cool and funny family. I like Story's comedy and bright outlook. Hang in there guys. Our hearts and prayers are with you.
More vlogs please! 🙏 It's nice to see you back in those restaurants/cafes. How about show us when you go shopping? I always enjoy seeing the local little markets that you go. Wow! Pan de Coco lady is back 👏👌 Love to see your smiles! 💕
Your presence is a boost to people’s morale.
