There's rumors that the University of Cincinnati will be updating Nippert Stadium. Now that they're in the Big 12, they have to keep up with everyone else. Plus, it's one of the oldest stadiums in the NCAA. Hopefully, they'll replace the bleacher seats for regular seating.

I am STOKED about the new entertainment district for my UT VOLS!!! It's not just the massive on going renno to Neyland Stadium. But this new entertainment district that is adjacent to Neyland Stadium and Thompson-Boling Arena (which I thinkis a first for any college, but probably not the last. Copycats coming lol). But Thompson-Boling Arena is getting much a needed facade renovation as well as cosmetic renovations to nearby Andy Holt Tower to create a more visually cohesive district on the UT campus. There's also a pedestrian bridge over the Tennessee River from Thompson-Boling Arena to the south shore of the river that will connect new residential and entertainment areas coming in the next few years.
@@nolesquad5162 nevermind I found it. Collegetown looks awesome. But it's a little bit different than than the UT entertainment district. It looks like a whole city compared to what UT has planned. UT already has the nearby Cumberland Strip which is the commercial, business, and residential district adjacent to campus. It's fully integrated in the Knoxville city grid being in the Ft. Sanders neighborhood that basically serves the same purpose as Collegetown in Tallahassee. UT's entertainment district is more along the lines of a college version of Live LA or The Battery At Truist.

they already added the new DBKMS to ncaa 25 and its not even complete IRL. It's looking BEAUTIFUL and the project is currently in phase 1, phase 2 is coming soon
I actually prefer pure bowls over decked stadiums. I'm looking forward to games in Memphis after the renovations are done. I just wish they had the bands seated better. I wouldn't mind setting some updates at Jackson State
I hope the Northwestern stadium project is still on schedule. Like Kansas, they'll be "homeless" for a season. At least no school on the mainland appears to have the stadium "catastrophe" of Hawaii.
The Pennsylvania State University, Beaver Stadium is getting a face-lift for now It looks to be a summer project, I don't know what they are doing, beyond replacing big-screen modules.

@@NathanMoist I'm guessing you haven't been to many other big stadiums (100K plus). Bleacher seating is the majority seating method for nearly all (if not all) of them. The outside of Beaver Stadium isn't nice but that's part of what they're addressing with the renovation. Also, I'm not aware of any high school stadium that looks like Beaver Stadium on the inside or outside in a scaled down version. I guess you're just trying to say the exterior of the stadium is not photogenic? It's a strange analogy to me, though.
@@vacumme No kidding most large capacity stadiums are bleachers. That's how you fit the max amount into the space provided. I'm guessing you haven't been to many small stadiums. The original parts of the stadium have no concourse. You walk on gravel under the bleachers up metal ramps into the seating area like a high school stadium. The bathrooms and concession stands are individual cinder block sheds under the stands. Beaver Stadium has been built in many phases. Other than the one endzone and the newest luxury box section the rest of the place looks like a huge high school stadium. The renovations are going to address all this though over time.
The Memphis stadium would look better with that tower if they didn't take seats out. I know Memphis struggles with attendance in everything except Grizzlies games and 201 Poplar Court appearances, but taking seats out is almost never a good look.
I’m not going to lie. Trump’s not the best option but he’s the only candidate we have that can bring the country back after the horrible 4 year term of sleepy Joe Biden and cackling Kamala
I don’t know why but the new Memphis stadium reminds me of Autzen Stadium here in Oregon.

That other side of stand at DBMS will be coming down. They're just doing the one side first. So we can get back to playing there by next year.

Beaver Stadium looks like the world's largest high school stadium.

@@vacumme The outside is exposed steel. The floors on the concourse are gravel in some places. Almost the entire stadium is bleacher seating.
