Finished the manga available... this song shows the story of eddie...even though its a manga and an anime and nothing more. The emotion is real and nothing can be said against that. Eddie was just a dream within a dream. The wisdom and charisma personified in his character by the author was a soul of its own...

Dude the manga is very special, havent experienced a story with so much personal emotion to me, this is why I read manga, to experience those feelings that are so hard to come by for someone like me who cant express or attach his feelings so easily.
I was able to work my dad’s CD player, before I could read. Since then I wanted to learn guitar, but it wasn’t until I was 15 and discovered this show, that made me start. 15 years later, i still look back at that day as the turning point of my whole life. This show will always have a special place in my heart because of that!
1) Story in manga continues after and on the American trip. (Anime ends at chapter 33, but the story has 103 chapters.. you miss out like 2/3'ds of the story actually) 2) You find out why does the dog look so freaky 3) You find out the meaning of the dream 4) More details on story overall. I wasn't a big manga reader either until i picked up Beck :D it's worth a shot and to be honest you can just google and find the full manga. (you can google Beck manga chapter 33 and just continue with the story) The end of anime shows they went on American trip but if you continue from chapter 33 they are half way leaving to America, there's some preparations and etc but that's where the story mainly lefts off and i suggest starting around there ;) (if you are too lazy to start from the beginning xD)
***** the only thing that sucks about the anime is that some stuff isnt the same as the manga then i would have been beter. but its the best manga ive read since ive started reading manga and that was 4 years back or something. and the movie isnt worth watching if u wanna know koyuki's voice because its muted everytime he should sing thats the major downer of the drama movie
I love the manga but for me when they play it seems very empty. I feel the need of actual lyrics in there at least. Only if comics/books had sync played music :(

I was at the end of the Manga where they were at the Avalon Fest and played Devil's Way, I just got the news that Osamu Kobayashi just recently passed away, If it weren't for Kobayashi-san we wouldn't hear the great songs Beck has made. I Thank Kobayashi-san for this amazing Manga.
I've never had such an earnest reaction to a song before. There really is something special here. It brings a tear to my eye every time I listen to it.

You can always read the manga :) They go so much farther than the anime and it's so good, honestly, read it man. It doesn't matter that i has no sound a story is a story.
At the beginning is like Eddie lee playing the song for Koyuki, and later in the song I see Kiyuki playing on stage singing the song, with the band members joining one by one. creating a great atmosphere and flow. One of my favorite anime tracks. I found this song last year after I finished reading the series and I love this song to the day. As far as if this really is Koyuki goes, this is exactly how I pictured it in my head.
This manga gave me goosebumps all over and sent Chills with capital C, down my spine more times and more intense than anything I've ever experienced before.

It's not the same band who played this. There was a contest, and the best band who covered the title was selected. This is a cover by a french band. (I don't know the band neither)
At the very least, it's one of the best dubs around. It beats out virtually every anime, keeping up with (In my opinion) Trigun, Wolf Rain and Gungrave.
