1:54 I strongly disagree with this. Super Mario Galaxy is my second favorite game of all time just slightly behind Galaxy 2 for me. As for the Black and White take, I don’t think that’s a hot take at all. Personally my favorite non-remake mainline Pokémon game is Platinum, but Black and White are a close second. As for my favorite Pokémon game, it’s easily HeartGold/SoulSilver
not necessairly an Nintendo unpopular opinion but i dislike that almost every RPG has the same battle system where you're just doing math and getting lucky instead of dodging attacks (like Mario & Luigi and to an extent also Paper Mario). I should mention that i grew up with Mario & Luigi so i just don't find most RPG's fun to play
0:50 Paper Mario Sticker Star was pretty much the first game i ever played that i didn't want to finish because the puzzles where too obscure, and i didn't like the game enough to have a guide on hand
2:42 I actually kind of agree, although not as much. I never grew up with ttyd, but I have played halfway through it about a year ago, but I have listened to the music a lot. I have to say, I love the original paper mario 64 music much better, but I may be a little biased because I grew up with that game (and it was also my first game I ever beat all by myself as a young child).
Here's one: When it comes to music for the Super Mario Series (in general, with some exceptions), I think a more weird and wacky, synth-based or unconventionally instrumented approach like in Paper Mario ttyd, Super Paper Mario, Mario Kart Wii, and Mario and Luigi: bis fits MUCH better with the tone of Mario than the Jazzier OSTs of Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D world, and the modern PM games. In a colorful, zany, abstract world full of Size-doubling mushrooms, crazy creatures, and floating blocks, "Okey Dokey" (The battle theme from BIS) is a MUCH better fit than "Double Cherry Lane" (Which is still a BANGER.)
Ive got the switch port of TTYD and theres an item that lets you switch between the classic soundtrack and a modernized one. Neither are bad, just not AS good as SM64,galaxy, sunshine, or Luigis mansion
I will say Sticker Star's soundtrack is good. I especially love the opening menu's song.

If I were to rate sticker star honestly, I’d say it’s probably a B tier game. I only said it was S tier for the bit
Woah, the first mid rating for sticker star I've seen
The next LM game definitely needs to give king Boo a power boost or he'll eventually be as threatening as Neo Cortex from Crash Bandicoot.
Nice video!

Unpopular opinion: Mario 3D land and world are true 3D Marios aslong you can move in all directions
