Subscribed - as I spent my working life from June 1974 through to March 2020 driving cargo ships around the world and doing huge amounts of long and short haul flying my long distance travel is over for the time being but had a wonderful month long touring holiday driving from Bergen to North Cape and back in 2022 I’m not averse to visiting closer places. I wanted to do the trip in an EV but Hertz ran out of them and gave me a Toyota Corolla hybrid station wagon that was amazingly economical even with its very short all electric range. If you have the time to do it it’s a great trip and even really nice hotels in the peak of summer we’re not as expensive as even budget hotels here! The expensive items of the trip were the glass of wine / beer with dinner each evening and the petrol…….
