Hey Vic, here Chapasa from Perú again. In the next days will arrive my ulanzi fast claw and my ulanzi wide angle for my zv 1. Thanks for presents this products. I hope could buy and synco a2 g2 and my set yotube ready =)
Been watching your videos for a while & just recently subscribed. Got myself a Sony ZV-1 for streaming but also fancied trying my hand at more vlog content. LITERALLY said the other day I needed something like this & here we are... Get out my brain, Vic! 😂💜
@@VicBarry I like it a lot! Coupled with an Elgato Camlink, it's absolute fire. I'm an absolute camera noob so it took me a while (& a lot of advice) to get it looking crisp but I'm sure happy with the results!
I kept coming back to this and was finally ready to pull the trigger based on your review, Vic. THEN, I discovered Ulanzi has updated the Fast Claw with a Gen II ! (It's as ARCA compatibility and some enhancements). Maybe time for you to hit up Ulanzi for one to review? ;-) Cheers!
'Sounds like a very good time saving device. If I get one of these, I'm planning on using it on something quite a bit heavier than the ZV-1, namely the Sony RX-10. Do you think the FAST Claw is sturdy enough to handle the weight? Again, I always look forward to watching your channel.
Hey Keith, I’ve had my a6600 on it without issue although that’s lighter than the RX-10. Apparently it’s got a weight bearing capacity of 50kg. Regardless I’d think it should be fine. It’s well constructed.
Looks really great! I wonder if this might work with the PeakDesign Clip v3 and the Jobi 5K somehow... I have the PD plate screwed to my camera constantly, and it also kinda fits the Jobi Gorilapod also - so I wonder if this one will fit into my workflow...
Hey buddy, how you doing? See, here's thing thing. If you add up the amount of time you'll save each time you DON'T have to unscrew a tripod etc. and work that out over a year, then you're going to have at least an extra few hours to spend with the wife! She'll love you for that ;)
It would be nice if you could buy an extra baseplate or two so you can switch the camera to multiple tripod options. I guess you just have to buy two whole units to do this?
You can get the receiver (the part that goes on the tripod) separately. B&H has them right now for $14.95 (B&H # ULCQRSG2). I just bought one complete set (receiver and plate) plus one extra receiver for the second tripod. Arrives tomorrow.
Definitely getting this. Sick of all kinds of annoying fast release plates that actually slow you down.
Hey Sandeep, yeah. Probably gonna pick up another one or two of these. Really useful.

hahahaha! That's awesome ;) How's the ZV-1 working out for the streaming?

Awesome, the Camlink is a great piece of kit :)

Ahhh. Interesting stuff Mike. Thanks for the headsup

Aaaaah! Would ya stop!!!! You're costing me a fortune! ;)
What with cameras, lights and now a claw .....
Great item.
😂😂😂 hey Ian, I’ll hold off on the revamped studio tour for a bit so
I like that going to order 😂
Will this work with my sony zv-1 in a smallrig cage to crane m2 gimbal?
You need to double check the weight of it but it should. Might make balancing a hit awkward but worth a shot
what do you think use that fast claw with Sony A7RIII + Batis 25MM on a ZHIYUN WEEBILL S, do you think gonna work right, that ulanzi is not too high?
Hey Jaime, 🤷♂️ it’s not that high but hard to say to be honest. Maybe pick one up and look at returning the claw if it’s too high

May I know if you can remove the battery even the Ulazni Fast claw is attached on the Sony Zv-1? Thank you!
Hey there, afraid not. You'd need a cage for the ZV-1 for that to happen
@@VicBarry Appreciated. Thank you sir!
...but it’ll still block the battery door, right?
Yeah. You’ll need a cage to fix that issue
I was just going to ask that question. What cage do you recommend?

Hey Jonathan, not sure to be honest but I don’t see why not. It’s just another quarter inch mount.
OK... My wife's going to ground me.... 😁 Watched another Vic video and going to get my credit card 😁👍... I do need this!
