Aaron i’d love to see you review Argos Adonis Awakens if you haven’t already. I purchased Triumph of Bacchus and got a sample of Adonis Awakens with it. I put two sprays of each on my wrist, gave it a minute and smelled Bacchus and thought it was very nice. When I smelled Adonis Awakens I literally got goosebumps. It’s a rose based fragrance that is masculine as well. Absolutely beautiful!
If I start buying fragrances called Batman, I'm worried where it will end. It'll be Spongebob Squarepants, Teletubbies & Postmam Pat next!

@@ripdajacker23 it was a rethorical question, alluding to the opening post. Batman = a cartoon character mostly adored by children; so naturally anything named "Batman lunchbox", "Batman pyjamas" or "Batman perfume" makes you think it's aimed towards children.
@@oscarpalm4863 the Batman is targeted for adults and so is the fragrance, thus the name of it being ‘vengeance’. Obviously not intended for kids lol

Aaron - So glad to see your subscriber count growing - as far as I'm concerned, you have no competition. I got a bottle of your "Hard Candy." My GF & 16 year old daughter love it. The projection and how long it lasts is amazing! I really like it, but I think it's for a younger man. I love Tom Ford Grey Vetiver ... what perfume of yours would you (or anyone) suggest I check out. I was not surprised at all by the quality of Hard Candy. Well done!

As a guy who has bought this fragrance last year, I can agree. This smells so good. It reminds me of being at a barber shop. It is a little sweet but it definitely projects so you don’t need much 😂.

Glad to hear that Ethylmaltol is out there whipping through bases and sweetening the world. I have heard really great things about this house, but have never tried anything from them. I'm curious to hear other people's experiences and would love to hear your takes some of their most highly-touted ones. Love as always head unicorn 🦄💘😁

It's mushroom hunting season where I am, Iowa and Nebraska, and I have been wearing your OUD me every time I go. It is so grounding and wonderful! I love it so much! And the Luna or onyx at night. Love your work so much! 😁😘
I imagine Batman with a white smoke, metallic, tarmac one of fragrance. A bit like Nasomatto Fantomas without the melon. Or Amouage Memoir with that dark woods

I bought this thinking it would be dark and sexy but it's not at all! At first I was disappointed but after a few wears it really grew on me as an easy to wear everyday type of fragrance
Maybe we can get an ATH “vigilante” inspired fragrance. Or one that smells like Batman and one that smells like what Bruce Wayne might smell like.

I've never tried anything from this house. I've heard a lot of people say that their stuff is just "ok" and not really worth the price. They are known a lot for their collector edition presentations but not really for the fragrances themselves.
I think you’re hearing from people who got overly hyped on the brand two or three years ago when every “reviewer” was hyping them, didn’t buy the samples and went in blind not knowing anything about scents. I jumped into their Classic based off the notes and major familiarity with what each smelled like and I can honestly say that HOS is the most complimented brand I wear. They smell unique but in safe ways and you can almost always find some of their fragrances on sale for 50-60% off
For me Ombre Leather by TF is suitable for "Batman' fragrance

I think from your range Batman is somewhere in the realm of Hedonism, New Luna and Onxy Extreme. Dark, deep, brooding, strong, mystical, rich and long-lasting. People definitely remember long after that rubber leaves their room! 🤣 💙🦄

Bought my first HOS fragrance and was severely disappointed
You would think anything about Batman would be quite leathery....oily and dirty; Labdanum, Geosmin, smokey odours like Choya Loban and Birch Tar. A drop or two MFX (pheromone), An incense accord kinda Gothic churchy.....sweat, Cassifix.metallic Aldehydes (Clonal), Cypress, Cedar, Vetiver, Patchouli, Oudy yes but more Agaric. Cardamom and a touch of Nagarmotha. Castoreum, Cashmeran, Ginger, Sage. A touch of Rose to make it mournful and somber. It should feel and smell like a suit of leathery armor. Rough on the outside, somber,dark and vulnerable on the inside. JMTs.

Batman is a rich dude who is a known womanizer that spends the darkest hours of the night getting shot at and ends his days sweaty and exhausted. A Batman fragrance should smell like sex, leather, musk, smoke, and - let's be honest - Creed Aventus. It's what Bale's Batman had to have worn, I swear. It should be gothic, hypersexual Aventus. Why make it a freshie?
