I've smelt some of those.....while I personally don't find the Jape one totally disgusting (artificial, very sweet, but not disgusting - actually I have worn it - I think I still have it somewhere....), I didn't like any of the other ones....
They would notice definitely. So would anyone else.
Go up to around £10 and I think you'd get some interesting results. Some I've bought at £10 for 100ml actually smell pretty good.....some older ones, or some Arabian brands etc.......
I reckon for some of them they would definitely guess a higher price than they cost...maybe not £200 but.....
I’m not a perfumer or professional but a normal person will smell these and can right away tell they smell off
Props to Chris for not being pear pressured in agreeing with Aaron, let’s be honest they all can’t be that bad.

It would have been nice to look at it from a perspective of someone that doesn’t have any dime to spend on perfume. So you could tell them what the best choice would be to smell a little good

These collabs are a lot of fun. The pineapple one was worrying that it might chemically be unsafe. As another theme, what would ATH make of basic old school high street fragrances such as Lynx Africa, Old Spice, Brut etc? It is Aaron's reaction I like. Also the prospect that there is a hidden gem hiding there which is half decent. I am waiting for the moment "This Tabac is worth 8 times the price". You never know!

I ve gone into poundland and looked at a lot of the fragrances and all of them had pegi 14 hydrogenated castor oil in them

Hey Chris When Aaron comes on his expertise and yours just come to life, Chris I would consider getting Chris on after all the virus stuff fades away could you get Aaron on again or future videos please I discovered your channel with cheapies try doing your current fragrances that you love like top ten hey Chris maybe do more Tom Ford like lost cherry etc
I use 9th element for bed. It's really nice when you've just got out of the shower and into some fresh pjs. I use Jape as an air freshener. I can't get away with any of the others. Sparkling Sky is foul. It's supposed to be a dupe of Angel.
It would be good to see Aaron try chatler, la rive, next , creation Lamis ect which are generally very close to the originals maybe even armaf fragrances although I've not had much luck with them.
Have ATH try 1) Secretions Magnifique and 2) Sex Panther (yes you can buy it and the Panther roars when you open the box) and 3) Axe (I believe it is called Lynx in the UK).

Guys you have to check out Polish clones from Jfenzi, Luxure or Cote Azur. They aren't that bad. 10 pounds max for a bottle.

My Dad use to rock Joop... I hated it.. My son is only 9yo... but I gifted him a bottle of Montblanc Legend Spirit... I felt it was appropriate for his age and that if he wanted to wear something it should be better than axe/adidas body sprays

There is a dollar store version of Tom Ford Ombre Leather called "Urban Legend Gentlemen" ...it's not bad. The fragrance is by Preferred Fragrance New York.
I went into poundland and they have now got some 4 pound mens fragrance and one is a dupe of drumroll please creed aventus
How about doing a comparison between old versions of Brut, Old Spice etc ( which were quite well made)and the new formulations?
I think that these fragrances are aimed also for really cheap barbershops, to use as an aftershave, etc.

It's concerning when Aaron said about the chemical in Sparkling Sky. I tried to study chemistry, and failed, but I have an idea of what we should steer away from. You really don't know what you are spraying on yourself.
I know the UK is strict on what we buy in a health and safety way, and the chemicals in perfume, but with so many people buying cheap perfumes from China, like Allie Express, Wish etc. How can we be sure we aren't putting ourselves in danger? What's safe to buy here isn't the same thing in China and the far east.
It's hard to police and there's always loopholes.
But can I ask, when I see a perfume that says it contains civet or ambergris, is it really from animals, or a synthetic? If it is I'm not buying.
