That Dino-Getter 2 is part of a spin-off version of Getter Robo, an anime that pioneered the concept of a combiner Super Robot. I remember JobbyTheHong reviewed this particular bot wayyyyy back then, before he was more... strange. He also reviewed the other two in the set last year.

Actually, about the Elita-1 combiner, Orthia is when she combines with all the fembots, while Elita-Inf1nite is when she combines with other people (according to the official artwork is Moonracer and Novastar as arms and Jazz and Ricochet as legs)
Towards the end of the video, I was propping my phone up on my desk so I could dig through a bin of Transformers I haven't sorted yet, when suddenly I heard "so I can look up vore of myself" and I whipped back around to stare at my phone in shock and horror. Took me a minute to realize it was a callback to that weird Tentakill drawing. Yeesh!
From how I understand it, both Elita-1nf1nte and Orthia are offical names for her combined modes, its just a matter of who she's combined with. With the Female Autobots its Orthia, with any other combination is Elita-1nf1nate, just like how Scattershot can be the torso of Computron with the Technobots, or Betatron with anyone else. I think Optimus is the same way was well with Ultra Prime and Optimus Maximus.
You repeated the bit at 13:40, about Elita-1f1n1t3. As soon as you opened Shattered Glass Cyclonus, I assumed the rest would be terrible, like loads of Combiner Wars Jazz and Ironhides and a box with nothing but Throttlebots in.
Machine robo (or robo machine as they were originally known in the west) are NOT gobots...yes the same basic toy designs were used for both toy lines but completely different back stories....watch "machine robo : the revenge of chronos" and then compare that to the "challenge of the gobots" and you will see they have about as much in common with each other as the red barons Fokker dr1 triplane fighter from WW1 has with a modern day F-22 raptor.....WORLDS APART.

@@KarachoBolzen while I understand where you are coming from the machine robo figures make no reference to gobots or tonka on the packaging because they are NOT gobots...in much the same way that the takara micro man gun robo is NOT Megatron from transformers despite being the same toy or takara diaclone battle convoy is NOT Optimus prime despite that being the same toy...people (as in fans / collectors) DONT refer to the diaclone and microman toys as transformers (or vice versa) because they are NOT transformers...two completely different toy lines with completely different characters and back stories so I just don't understand why people still call these machine robo figures gobots when they are NOT.

If you are expecting another Aenema you won't find it here, but if you can appreciate an older more mature Tool then it should do the trick. Longer more meditative tracks with some influx of the heavy at times. I found it to be a nice addition and a better sequel to Aenema and Lateralus than the last one. Love the show, keep it real!
Yeah another unboxing, always a treat to watch when waiting for a review. Especially when someone sends a bombastic figure or goody. Getter robo better know in America as starvengers or here in the uk as formators. They where a group of three space fighters that would combine in different formations to make three different robots: getter 1 the red flight capable robot, getter 2 who had a drill arm and getter 3 who was for underwater combat
hey thew it's so cool you got the wst dinobots I got the set a few years ago and word of advise grimlock is very fragile the screws that keep the tail in place can strip the plastic pretty easy if you transform it a few times other then that it's a great set. the stickers they come with arent the best the ones on mine dont even stick so you might want to grab the repro labels set they made for them
About the Studio Series Constructicons: I think you should TOTALLY review them all. Something tells me this Devastator's gonna be worth it (I hope, at least)!

The "DinoGetter-2" is a new variation of Getter Robo. The Getter Robo series features 3 jets that can combine in different configurations to form 3 different robot types: a flying winged red one armed with tomahawks or axes, a swift ground-type armed with a drill, and a bulky strong one with tank treads and big missiles. In the original manga and anime, the Getter Robo fought against an evil empire of beings evolved from dinosaurs, and their army of robot/cyborg dinosaurs. The "Dino-Getter" series is a reboot/new take on the Getter story, wherein the Getter Robo itself has dinosaur elements built into its design. Hope that helps, your Thewness.

The WST Dinobots: do not apply the stickers that are included, they are very bad and fall off quickly. Their hands are easy to loose to leave in box if possible (best to display em as dino's). Though, Grimlock has a change compared to the original mold. His head is on a slider to have a more natural position.

All I remember from gi joe is that cobra commander had starscreams voice, but I thought he was blue with a grey faceplate so maybe this is a repaint of some sort, I could be wrong though. I seem to remember there was a crossover bit way back in some g1 episode? I was 6 or 7 round that time so I'm not even sure if it was real or if I made it up and then believed it was real. Hah, youth, you're so long ago. Anyways, good haul today, but a review is still my favorite thew. I don't mind seeing more gobots, watched them as well when I was a kid so you'll get me right in the nostalgia anyway. I was an easy kid, some robots shapechanging and shooting lasers was good enough for me, story and animation be damned! Keep doing what you do!
The Metamore Force Dino Getters is as far as I know, reimaginings of the Getter Robo robots as Dinosaurs, as I don't think they're from a specific piece of media and are toys only. Getter Robo is one of those classic 1970s Super Robot manga/anime. In the original it's a vehicle combiner that can go between 3 forms, being Getter 1, Getter 2, and Getter 3. The individual vehicles don't have dedicated robot modes. The Metamore Force one's don't combine, and instead each form transforms into a dinosaur. With Getter 2 being a T-rex. Getter Robo has had multiple anime reboots and reimaginings over the years. With the most iconic one of these being Getter Robo: Armageddon. Though, from what I've heard New Getter Robo is more representative of what the entire franchise is like. If you ever are interested in watching either of those...they can get pretty violent. So if you're sensitive to that sort of thing like I am, just be warned. However, if you want a taste test, then watch Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo (Yes, that title is a mouthful) it's only 4 episodes long, so you can blow through it in about 2 hours. Edit: If you want to see more Getter toys, Vangelus reviewed a bunch of them years ago.
That Stunticon Prime... I mean Menasor looks loads better than the Prime Galvatronus.... We actually renamed Prime Galvatronus to “ Lord Grapeitron”. It fits.
That dinigetter 2 toy is actually a bootleg toy. The original is called the dino getter 2. Hobby has a good review on that toy as well as a few others in the same series.

All I remember from gi joe is that cobra commander had starscreams voice, but I thought he was blue with a grey faceplate so maybe this is a repaint of some sort, I could be wrong though. I seem to remember there was a crossover bit way back in some g1 episode? I was 6 or 7 round that time so I'm not even sure if it was real or if I made it up and then believed it was real. Hah, youth, you're so long ago.
Anyways, good haul today, but a review is still my favorite thew. I don't mind seeing more gobots, watched them as well when I was a kid so you'll get me right in the nostalgia anyway. I was an easy kid, some robots shapechanging and shooting lasers was good enough for me, story and animation be damned!

The Metamore Force Dino Getters is as far as I know, reimaginings of the Getter Robo robots as Dinosaurs, as I don't think they're from a specific piece of media and are toys only.
Getter Robo is one of those classic 1970s Super Robot manga/anime. In the original it's a vehicle combiner that can go between 3 forms, being Getter 1, Getter 2, and Getter 3. The individual vehicles don't have dedicated robot modes.
The Metamore Force one's don't combine, and instead each form transforms into a dinosaur. With Getter 2 being a T-rex.
Getter Robo has had multiple anime reboots and reimaginings over the years. With the most iconic one of these being Getter Robo: Armageddon. Though, from what I've heard New Getter Robo is more representative of what the entire franchise is like.
If you ever are interested in watching either of those...they can get pretty violent. So if you're sensitive to that sort of thing like I am, just be warned.
However, if you want a taste test, then watch Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo (Yes, that title is a mouthful) it's only 4 episodes long, so you can blow through it in about 2 hours.

That Stunticon Prime... I mean Menasor looks loads better than the Prime Galvatronus.... We actually renamed Prime Galvatronus to “ Lord Grapeitron”. It fits.
That dinigetter 2 toy is actually a bootleg toy. The original is called the dino getter 2. Hobby has a good review on that toy as well as a few others in the same series.

I saw some Gundam action figures at the local GameStop. The ones I saw were the RX-78-2 Gundam, the Wing Gundam, and the Unicorn Gundam.
Its from a new line from bandai called the gundam universe line. They announced the next 3 releases baratos, banshee, and deathsythe. Its aimed more at figure collecters over plamo builders

The dino gitter toy was inspired by an actual anime known as guitar Robo which inspired the Super Robot genre and the combining robot genre in Japan you see the kids are robo What machines were actually all the same machine that was made through different combinations of the three combining spaceships just differentiate is it by the colors that they had. Watch jobbythehong videos on the three toys that they have you'll get the general idea better from how he explains it with visuals.
