I have both copic and ohuhu and used ohuhu as my mid tones and getting some shades I don't have with my copics when I used to only have about 20 copics. They work well together strangely well too. Mixing the two sets really makes things interesting.
If you ask, ohuhu has certain colors in each set. The 80 set has a set color chart, the 60 also has a set color set. On email they will send you the color charts for each set.
Ohuhu already has brush pens, they know how to make brush tips, they just need to mix that with their alchohal markers and it'll be a serious competitor for copic. I've been recommending them to everyone I've met who's complained about copic prices as probably the best cheap alt.

Actually copics have many pros over ohuhus . But they are extreamely expensive . But you get semi great markers for so much cheaper . So that is why ppl prefer ohuhus .

I love the brush markers by ohuhu. I recently bought the water based ones too, and they are amazing! And they have a fineliner so you can do linework without the alcohol markers making them bleed
i just got my first set of ohuhu markers with a brush and a chisel and omg i fell in love with them instantly like i constantly am drawn to wanting to blend and blend with them all the time! they just came out with like a 300pc set i believe which i would kill for ugh

The poster board also makes it much harder to blend and get consistent coverage especially if you used a sand block to rough it up unevenly.

I have four siblings and three of them are the youngest, Ohuhu helped me to make my drawings better because most of my siblings like colourful things even though i like dark colours and not colouring things in just in case i ruin it. I find Rae's review very true!

I've seen so many videos about this marker and to be honest I think I might buy some since I want to get used to using my alcohol based markers but Copic is so expensive - but this brand Ohuhu I might as well give a try. It looks like it has pretty decent quality. (Btw lovely review Rae!) ❤
EmDDG Arts they dry out really fast. I used mine for one drawing. The markers set for a couple months i tried to do another drawing then boom so many dry markers. Ones i haven’t used yet. I’d save my money go on amazon and get prismacolor markers. They have the 48 pack for 80.00 it’s worth it. I’ve had prismacolor markers and comics for years and they aren’t dry however my ohuhu dried in months.
Tee G. Yeah me too. They worked really good for about the first three months. But then they started to dry out and I hadn’t even used them a lot. I do recommend them tho.

Yes that’s the thing about ohuhu they color just fine, actually nicely for the price but then they just get dry and some of the colors change in color. I had a brown marker that i used to make a burger drawing. That marker is now green. Prismacolor, copic, Winsor and newton are all good brands. I have well over 100 copic markers. They are lovely but not the end all be all. Try a few brands and have fun!

I've got the 120 pack and holy heck all of the colors are gorgeous. - The only thing is a brown marker bled and got all over three markers and it was hard to wash off. The markers weren't dried at all though.
They look good! I don’t think I’ll try them out because I have so many copics and refills, but they’re so good for the price for new and old artists. (Also, copics are so easy for me to get hold of as my uni sells them super cheap)

I go to a university in the UK 😊 they are sold cheaper at student prices and I think they don’t have to charge tax too (not too sure tho) It’s about £2.20 for a pen, £4-something for refills.
Plus all art students (only for your degree, not masters) are given £50-£75 to spend a year 😊

So one of my hobbies is reading Amazon reviews for things, and I decided to check out the reviews for the 200 count set of these. One of the reviews stuck out to me. A woman left a 3 star review because she was upset that after around 2 months of her daughter using these markers for art class, some of them are running out of ink. That's like someone being upset because their pencils are getting smaller after they sharpen them. I just-

Well, yeah...
I saw these for sale but haven’t tried getting them yet. Those other cheap markers you first were comparing them to I DID get and hadn’t used them a lot either since I have to be in the mood to use markers or anything not in pencil or outlining pens, but a lot of them (the cheaper markers) ended up being dried up and I was sorely disappointed about that.
I definitely want to give the Ohuhu markers a chance though after your video though! They look amazinggg and I got low key jealous that you got all those pastels. Lol

You should try Chameleon Pens. They have a blending chamber that you connect 2 Chameleon markers and you can make beautiful blends.

I've seen them around 1.5-2€. If you are familiar with ecoline liquid watercolor that's what they are, in a brush pen. They are lovely for lettering.

I really like them, you get lots of colours too (you can buy them in pack or seperatly and they are fun to work with). 😁 They aren't alcohol based (it doesn't blend as well as Copics, but they don't smell much and they are cheaper). Also; brush tip! 😁

Those seem really nice so far, but i have a theory why they are so cheap. They may have waaaay less ink than normal markers. I think you should see how long one lasts to see because it seems to good to be true
There is a RUclipsr I watch, drawingwiffwaffles, she has had the same set of these markers for quite a while and they have not ran out or dried out yet so I'm hopeful. She uses them the most out of all her markers.

Hey Rae can u do a Faber castell vs prismacolor
I’d like to see her do that, too. But IMO the Faber Castell pencils are waaaaayyyyyy better than Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils need sharpening so much more often and get used up really quickly, but my Polychromos keep their sharp tip for much longer, last MUCH longer, and blend just as well as the Prismacolor. Plus, there’s no wax bloom with the Polychromos, so I can add more layers. I also have the Caran D’Ache Luminance pencils and Polychromos is my favorite by a wide margin.
I just got my 100 set of Ohuhu markers yesterday,and they are AMAZING! I don't own any Copics,but my friend does and I am honestly impressed at how well they worked compated to them! 10/10 would recomand! 👍
I'm a total noob when it comes to alcohol markers but these markers are amazing! Sadly my pack didnt come with a lot of skin tones which I use a lot ( I got the 40 pack) but i still love these markers so much and how they blend!
