2 nice new circular saw blades for the price of a single milwaukee multi tool blade. It just seems so crazy to me but I understand, the tooling and the cost to manufacture is higher on the oscillating blades.
they make an attachment that sharpens these blades and if you tend to use a lot of them then go to harbor freight and buy there blades if you dont wanna buy the expensive ones or the sharpening route
Why does every short have one random reference to something unrelated and then an obligatory comment about the reference like we all didn't hear it in the video? This is gotta be proof we are all in a simulation
Yesss!!!! “Happy litttle plunge cuts!” Ooohhh, ohhhh….. Halloween idea; you should totally do a Bob Ross style video! (Fro and all!) That would be glorious!
NOTE: with the bracing hand keep all fingers pulled tightly back precisely like chefs do when speed chopping veggies. It’s imperative that you train your mind not to let those brace fingers get too comfy near the cut line. I know this sounds obvious but when the tool is in your hand you’ll understand my warning. PS: if you can afford the blades then God bless you man.
Fwiw, oscillating multitools won't cut you. Go ahead and throw your fingers underneath the blade - it's as likely to break your skin as high-grit sandpaper. Come to think of it, sandpaper is more dangerous due to the danger of papercuts.
Another technique I find myself under utilizing is the big disc blades when trying to make long straight cuts. They cut nice and straight and the short ones like to wonder if you’re not careful. But I find myself being lazy and just using the one blade for everything.
Great tip. I just found Milwaukee made some curved blades for this. So you don’t need to thread the little retaining nut all the way off when replacing those Bosch type blades.

Love my tool!! Lol Serious though this machine should be shown in 2x6 or something with grain. I found that as long as I have some left to right movements, it empty's the teeth, and it digs easier. I do use the round a lot, but I have a 3 inch flat blade, and after over a year, it's still good, not burnt, and ease causes that. Never force your blade in, it'll be done in half hour.
Hi.. Khawaja Abdur Rehamn is here.. I am impressed to watch this movie of blade. Tell me this blade which you are using in video is installed in the baby grinder machine or other.
@discoverneweyes Now that I am getting some work in with at some rentals... I have no idea why I didn't have one of these years ago. It's been my favorite tool past few weeks. Wood blade on metal?? Smokey smokey... but I have leaned some valuable lessons. Right blade for the job is very important

Put your hand on something higher than the blade, like say a 2x4. This way, God forbid the blade jumps (hit a nail or something), your hand is not right there for the cut!
Turn the blade 90 degrees when doing a plunge cut. Its so much more stable because you have a way better leverage over the blade. Doing plunge cuts the way shown in the video is the wrong way. Try it yourself. You'll see.
The tool is a must have, I just wish the blades were a little more inexpensive

Buy the "sharp dog " or something like that. It allows you to cut new teeth into dull blades. And then just order a 50 pack of Chinese blades.
@@TheBasedUchihaWhat do you mean pack of 50 chinese blades?
@@dinamiteurdinamiteur2324Amazon has huge packs of them for cheap, the quality isn’t as good. But you have so many they are basically disposable
Skate like Bobby Orr in the ‘70’s. Love it.
That mention of Orr the reason I watched the entire video. 🏒 🥅

It's the detail that makes the difference. Thanks for the tip about hand placement 👍
You should check your sound while editing your videos. With headphones you only hear your voice on the left ear which is really annoying
If you're like me and still suck even with this tip, you can use squared lumber set right to the edge of the cut and guide down vertically
Or droll a hole and start from there
This clip is literally showing you what takes years for some to learn. Simple and effective

😂this hits close to home:)
Bc they are so slim I try to keep a few options in the tool bag depending on what the job is
I like my original m12 for the reason it is not as powerful and doesn't skate as bad. more controllable
Turn the blade 90° too. It doesn’t wobble and is easier to keep it straight.
Good tip. My dumbass forgets that it will do that sometimes 😆

Nice, I’ll check ‘em out
This isn't just obvious to everyone?
Nothing that looks easy is easy. It takes much practice to do it properly.
It’s like golf right? Pros make it look easy.
They are making blades that look like those Japanese saws

RUclips has since corrected the problem...
Needed to see this. Thank you!
How do I attach this blade
I only had this tool for only 3 days now and I naturally started doing this didnt realize its an actual thing XD
I frequently lay the backside of my speed square on the line I wish to cut. Makes the cut perfectly straight and square.

Milwaukee blades are amazing but expensive, if you want blades just as good but not as expensive, go with diablo blades. They are insane
Thanks!
You should be wearing gloves just for safety
Nice.
I use my Rotozip for those.
Takes too long, one handed recip saw #1.
Start the middle with a skill saw
hard to make a 2 inch cut with a 7 inch circular saw.
use a router or drywall cutout tool. Not this
Awesome! If they were just a little bit quieter too...
No doubt!
Work for 3/4 inch plywood?

Also you can stabilize by placing a finger on the pivot point of the blade. The center doesn't move much at all and helps you stabilize effectively.
Use a skillsaw and jig saw, it’s way faster for anything above 1/4” thickness

Left mono audio only?
Weird, just used one of these yesterday for the first time, cutting window sills.

that oscillating blade will not cut you...
one question..how many times have you used a oscillating tool?

if you go 90 degrees to that line it will skid every time but it if you do go super duper slow...id rather do it like dude did

Why is the curved blade better?
Due to the curved design, it begins cutting at one point versus beginning to cut with the whole blade with the straight blade
@@theColombiano11 ah thank you sir!
I always use my speed square to keep a barrier between the blade and the finish material
