I was kid when the British Airways ad used to play here in New Zealand. I used to run to the TV and turn it up cos I loved it so much lol even after the ad stopped running, I never forgot this song, it was emblazened into my mind as a child. Yeaaars later when the internet became a thing I finally came to know the name of the song and it's origins and am now able to listen to it as often as I want and it takes me right back to being a kid turning up the volume of the television trying to sing along 😵😂
Having worn a BA uniform on our aircraft, and welcoming our passengers aboard with a genuine smile and heart... My colleagues were all the same. That's why we were the World's favourite. We were sooooo proud of being BA staff. Still hearing the Flower Duet gives me chills What went wrong BA? 🥺

BA simply lost their identity - their Britishness and being so proud of being the worlds favourite airline. I so remember the always smiling air crew wearing the Paul Costelloe uniform and looking so smart and glamorous - that was flying and it needs to be resurrected. Come on BA let’s get it back !!!!
took a flight back from boston in april 2020 and it was the worst thing ever. broken air filter, horrible seats, like british buses, and just generally out-dated and tacky. Norwegian Air, which I went to the US on, was really nice.
This is wonderful and utterly uplifting. I bought the Malcolm McLaren CD because of this piece and used it to test every stereo I purchased thereafter.

I love living in the city but when I hear stuff like this it makes me miss having a detached house. I used to be able to attempt these sort of notes - the more volume, the more chance there is of getting it. I can't really do that in an apartment, someone would call the cops... or an ambulance... or animal rescue.
Never fear, for fear will stop your notes indefinitely. What is life if not for those notes that burn inside of you? No. Please promise you will forget the neighbours from now on and just sing :)

This is so remarkable - I am working on making a sensible collection of my Favourites, of music that moved me and meant something to me from my earlies years onwards. I am stil mining in my brain as in a diamong-mine. And just a few days ago I remembered this beautiful BA commercial!! I wasn't sure I would find it on YT to add it to my favourites. I agree concorde is deffo missing from this post, I amongst others are lucky enough to have witnessed concorde in flight and Was lucky enough as a child to sit in an operational one in the pilots and engineers seat too, fantastic piece of technology majestic in the sky, aswell as the mighty vulcan too, those delta ladies are so graceful and we shall possibly never see the likes of british engineering like this again in our lifetimes. I feel this music embodies concorde and the greatness of britain and its world class airline back in its former hayday!
Judy Chabola choreographed the British Airways "Face" commercial. She also did the Rose/Orange Bowl half-times, Olympic openings/closing ceremonies, etc. Not to forget the Emmy's, Grammy's, US cheerleading camps. Awesome talent. She died of breast cancer in the late 90's. She is truly missed.
