Don't know why this came up on my feed but wow, this takes me back to my childhood and the BA commericals. For some reason it glued me to the TV everytime it came on. To the BA marketing team back in the late-80's....masterpiece ad.

I want to know who is the singer of this song, It's a female voice, okay? When I was younger I used to listen to this tune but couldn't figure out if it was a female or male voice but I thought the voice would be of a female because it sounds like that. It's enchanting!

I was kid when the British Airways ad used to play here in New Zealand. I used to run to the TV and turn it up cos I loved it so much lol even after the ad stopped running, I never forgot this song, it was emblazened into my mind as a child. Yeaaars later when the internet became a thing I finally came to know the name of the song and it's origins and am now able to listen to it as often as I want and it takes me right back to being a kid turning up the volume of the television trying to sing along 😵😂
