- These unusual balloons turn into apples! Inflate the balloon a small amount, then use a pen or other blunt object to poke the neck of the balloon all the way through the centre of the balloon, until it is inside the thin part of the balloon on the opposite side. Twist a number of times, in order to make sure that everything stays in place, and then push the 'stem' of the apple a little way into the apple, and you end up with a very realistic 'balloon apple.' Good enough to eat really...

I was trying to find a nursery rhyme the other day - the video had 200M views and something like 250k dislikes. Absolutely nothing wrong with the video. The channel itself gets over 1B views a month, so I don't think they mind.

Something similar used to be very common when I was a child in India (late 80s and 90s) and we would have balloon sellers in the streets who used to sell such apple shaped balloon (but quite bigger than these) and had a rubber band attached to play like a "yo-yo". But they used to make the apple shape using their finger. It didn't have that long plastic thing which these ones have. They used to make them with normal balloons. And we used to call them "apple balloons".

In case anyone is wondering about the dislikes, it’s because horrible spoiled children apparently got recommended this video expecting it to be a terrible toy review and instead got this great video and got angry over it. @Need2connect It's a likely explanation. The channel talked about how this video appeared to have skyrocketed for seemingly no reason.
If it got picked up by YT-Kids, there's a good chance it got the clicks from there. From there it's no stretch to think kids either were disappointed at not being showered in colorful, loud vomit, or they randomly clicked it.
If it wasn't through the YT Kids app, we'd likely see a good number of the downvoters in the comments too.
Gotta say, did NOT expect him to bite into it. It was great.

Ive noticed a lot of videos that end up, "Reccomend" or, "Trending" have thousands of dislikes. I assume it's people leaving a dislike so that it stops popping up. I can also assume that this doesn't work...
I noticed that when I watch this on 1080p HD the video freezes every time. When I select a lower video quality it works fine. I think people may be downvoting as the video is not working for them(?). I feel sad that this got so many dislikes. This video is great.

If I may cast some light on it, I believe it's because most of the views are coming from non-english speaking countries. The channel owner posted about it awhile ago. I think this video got recommended to many people from the middle east and India. Consequently they disliked it to get it out of their recommendations.

I’ve made a lot of those as a kid but it looked way better and I didn’t even need that type of balloon thingy :>
I used the smallest balloon, blow it, not too big, then I use one one of my fingers to push the top of the balloon to the bottom, grab the button with the top, twitch it enough for it to stay, and it looks awesome, I added details with a green balloon as a leaf and a stick.

P.s. and idk how I got that idea as a kid, i was just messing with balloons and found it out I guess.
