Most of the Lee Enfields that have been imported recently have came out of Ethiopia(check for an IO import mark) and in my personal opinion and that of many online if you google.. rode hard and put away wet. I'd do a muzzle test just to see how worn out the bore is because that seems to be the biggest worry with them. Not speaking for any companies here, just talking about the few example rifles I've seen that friends have purchased that came out of Ethiopia.
@@farmerhanson8579 What Mosin Crate is referring to is the import stamp of I.O. Inc = InterOrdinance. That is the importer side of Royal Tiger Imports. I.O. Inc imported a MASSIVE amount of "firearms" from Ethiopia and has been selling them through RTI and sold off a bunch to Classic to sell. As Mosin Crate correctly states, these firearms are EXTREMELY rough and have been stored for decades in primitive shacks, exposed to the elements and bugs/crap. If you check out GunBoards or the milsurp subreddit, there are a bunch of posts of dissatisfied customers, including yours truly.
I placed my order three weeks ago with nothing but the same generic response from them each time. It's always funny that times are only "unprecedented" when someone has to deliver a service but when it's time to take your money they are extremely timely. Hopefully, things get better with them but the bad reviews are starting to mount.

I ordered a Swiss 1911 from them and received it within 4 days. Then ordered an AK about 3 weeks ago and it still says "awaiting shipping" they tweakin fr shipping is very inconsistent
I've bought parts and accessories at classic and had my order in picking for a long time too. They send about 6 emails a day. I have asked them to lighten up and tried to unsubscribe several times Didnt work. The emails are always for things they dont even hae in stock. Bummer message is getting old. Over all, not real happy about Classic.
EDIT: It actually shipped and arrived in a timely manner so outside of the communication error of being told there was a delay when there wasn't not so bad! (Orig post.... I ordered a blackpowder gun from them, completely stock item, nothing fancy, a week ago. Got twenty emails since but all were spam ads nothing about my order. Finally called up after a week yesterday as my order has remained stuck on "waiting to be picked" while in the interim I had actually ordered - and rec'd - something from another shop halfway across the country. They assured me it would ship in a few days. But in a few days I got an email telling me my order was 'delayed'...)
@@sion8849 Actually it did ship and arrive intact. My guess is they sent out the 'delay' email en mass and I got it by mistake? Outside of the communication error which caused me worry it actually worked ok to purchase from them. Editing orig. comment to reflect that.

It has been a week since I ordered an ak and they send me the delay email. I tried calling them today during business hours and didnt answer I am tempted to call a BBB representative for advice on what to do next.

Im reading comments all over the place that people are on a month with no shipping. IF they are actually this far behind it should be mentioned on their site (not just that they are a little behind) and they should not be charging the cards when people order but only when they ship. Also the constant emails about sales and specials and the daily videos on facebook and youtube feel like a kick in the gut when they arent getting peoples orders out.
If all you had was shipping bs then you got extremely lucky from what others have said. They have been black listed by other well known influencers for a reason.

Classic is famous for over promising and under delivering. They have been knocked by Ian and other well known influencers. They have been known to delete negative comments. The problem is they claim to hand pick but the hand pick is almost always not worth the up charge. There are more reasons but these are the big ones.

Chances are they are swamped and you will receive your order, but that does not excuse poor customer service. Maybe try calling again.
