Great review. I own a 2024 with a manual and absolutely love it. I agree with everything you said in your review including the very few and minor drawbacks. One point of clarification on the Super Cruise: as long as the cameras can see your eyes and you’re looking straight ahead, you never need to touch the steering wheel. My wife’s XT6 has it so that’s how I know. Also the Super Cruise is newly available on the 2024 models, and only automatics. Not on the manuals. Still worth the give up for the manual though.
There are plenty, and I mean plenty of videos out here that explain and prove several things that y'all are already debating in this comment section. Where shall we start. Ok well german vs american. One of my associates is a certified auto, marine and military aircraft mechanic. He was stationed in Germany for the better part of a decade. His saying is "if you can afford german, buy it and drive it like you stole it and sell it before the warranty is up". They are over engineered , always breaking down and come at way to high of a price point. As far as in class price and performance, this car beats the m3, m4 and m5 comps and cs, rs6 avant and Mercedes in all performance categories and beats them and the challenger hellcat in a straight drag race. The only stock car in class that is faster on track is the shelby gt 500. The engine is hand built by one person and has an unmatched suspension feel and feedback for a rwd monster. Not to mention comes in a manual 6 speed. Now lets not forget, this is the last year of the ICE american muscle with or without a manual. These cars are all making the swith to electric or hybrid and these gas versions will be highly sought after as soon as that reality hits everybody. Pound for pound, horsepower for horsepower, tech for tech, comfort for comfort, dollar for dollar, this is the best non supercar but still supercar with the most technology in the world right now and most likely ever. I can spend 50k less than an m3, 150k less than a basic turbo Porsche and haul my kids around comfortably and i just did, best decision ever. Maybe the European Style has a better interior, but that is all you will have to look at besides my taillights. So lets not now add hybrids or electric , if you want a faster car get the tesla plaid but its not a gas car and any bmw or Mercedes hybrid is in that electeic category now. If you doubt, go reseach and watch the videos, proof is there and you will see. Well, and yeah, you get a way better 60k mile powertrain warranty that you can actually use with ease on a car built here.

I bought one...absolutely amazing. I'm considering buying another to put in bubble wrap. Handles better than my old M4, 3 to 4 sec runs to 60 and 1/4 in 11s...just FINE! the sound and ability to play with this ZL1 chassis and SCLT4 is nothign short of pinnacle. Fun factor 10/10. with 4 doors hahhahahha PS. This is NOT a 0 to 60 car...it cant compete with AWD and EV...but what it can do it make you laugh with joy and have more fun in any car youve ever driven...with friends!! BUY ONE...this IS a car that will hold value that is not an///M and AMG or a GT car.
You can drive hand free for hours as long as you are looking forward and paying attention

That’s if you opt for super cruise which is only in the automatic transmission version anyway.
100k on a GM product that has the same fisher price plastic tablet screen as my equinox is beyond me.
Drive it in automatic it's not the cars fault you can't hit your shift points.

The CT4 handles slightly better but the CT5 is just so much better

Yes exactly the same. Pretty much everything is the same but updated dash, a little different look on the front and 2 new paint options basically.

The CT5V Blackwing is an RS7 competitor. The RS5 would compete against the CT4V Blackwing.
