- Took a while, but I'm finally back with yet another LOK arrangement. This time I tackle the iconic Sarafan Stronghold track from Soul Reaver 2, one of my favourite tracks from the franchise, and certainly one I would listen to A LOT back in the day.
Stayed pretty close to the original, adding some instrumentation here and there and made a medley of the basic and combat versions.

Soul Reaver 2 was probably my least favorite game in terms of gameplay, but the lore they expanded upon in it was awesome. This track was probably the most memorable from that game, and you've elevated it to an absolutely amazing arrangement.
Kudos on another amazing rendition. The addition of the Kyrie in the beginning is a lovely flourish.
I will never cease to enjoy your reinterpretations, you clearly put a lot of thought into the tiny bits of added instrumentation and never stray too far from the originals all while keeping almost the exact tone and emotion of the original tracks. Some parts get a bit creative but you never exclude the original verses on their own at some other point and I love that about them, it incorporates some new elements while still paying homage to the original.
Thank you very much! That's exactly it, I'll always add some of my stuff because that's the point for me, but keeping the original intent and melodic material of the tracks is highly important, even if I may deviate more on some tracks than others, I try to never stray too far, because I also know that most listeners will enjoy that a lot more.

The attention to detail is amazing, I could relive every sound and take from the original composition but in a new way.
It was like hearing the original OST for the first time again, astounding work!
I'm the biggest fan of L.O.K. and Soul Reaver. I wish that one day we could have a remastered version on PlayStation and even for the Switch.
Yet another one of my favorite LOK songs. I must've spend hours sitting around in the game listening to this song back in the day haha.

The maestro returns with another rejuvenating reinterpretation. The series' music is a vital part of its life's blood, and you never fail to get it pumping!

This was one of my favourite tracks when I played the game as a kid. Its probably the 1 song that comes to mind straight away when I think of Legacy of Kain. Good job on this version.

I love that the basic part has some similarities to the BO1 soundtrack, and do I hear subtle tunes of the Human Citadel from SR1 hidden in there?
It wasn't intentional to be honest, but I see what you mean, I use a very similar low growl-y sound in there.
I was wondering if you would took interest in Mark Morgan's Planescape: Torment's soundtrack reinterpretation? It's a classic that I would simply love to hear in your style!

Fun fact that could help in making music sound like Mark Morgans is the Spectrasonics: Distorted Reality 2 sample pack he used profusely when composing Planescape: Torment. It's interesting to see how many of these sounds ended up in many soundtracks from many different games.
