Tyler tests a drink koozie that claims to keep things cold. He places the can in the koozie, and then places the koozie in a blast furnace. When both can and koozie are incinerated by the 2700 degree temperatures, Tyler declares that the koozie "doesn't work" and is a piece of crap.
And yet, I love the videos.
Just like Tyler to meet their claims by 10,000% and declare the item trash lmao
And yet I watch ... yup, here to brother. XD
Other review channels: "I'm going to replicate this specific scenario each time to test this PPE.
TylerTube: *Throws ninja stars at safety glasses*
And a spear.
also, him shoots a 3/8 ball bearing with a slingshot right next to a window
I love how Tyler wears NO safety gear while dangerously testing safety gear!🤣
The saw chaps have Kevlar strands inside meant to do exactly what they did
That’s what I was thinking. It just jams the saw quickly
Yup!
Likely it's thin fibrils of nylon 6,6
I came here to say the same thing. I deal with airbags at work and I instantly recognized the material.
Do they go down over your shoes and protect your feet? My brother almost cut off the end of a foot with a chainsaw. Brilliant invention, simple but effective. Do you have to get a new chain afterward?
Flame-Resistant Gloves: "We can withstand temperatures up to 940 degrees Fahrenheit."
*Tyler puts glove on top of charcoal hotter than 1000 degrees Fahrenheit* (charcoal grills CAN get as hot as 1000 degrees Celsius)
*Glove begins to burn*
Tyler: Wow. These gloves suck!
"Honey, he's out there throwing weapons at plywood again!"
Lmao this is an underrated comment..
@@StillShatter its only 45 minutes old. 😂
@@pyrotank1232 tbh tyler hasn't posted in so long I didn't even realize this video just came out today 🤣
with a window right behind it
I wish we could see the reprobation glance from his neighbors more often
I dunno… I actually really like the idea of the first safety glasses + face shield combo. In cases where you’d want to wear a face shield, a regular one restricts mobility and pushes into your chest which is super uncomfortable.
I like the morals of the story. Don't get hit in the face by a spear, make sure you know that chainsaws and legs don't agree with each other and digging around in charcoal isn't the same as digging around in the back of a sofa. Respect. The shield actually looked ok. It was the crap joints that failed. Keep safe mate.
I was expecting Tyler to put a ball bearing through his garage window. Lol
Should put hotdogs in gloves that get cut resistant testing.
Right?! I mean why put the backstop directly Infront of a window😂
i was expecting the ninja stars to break the window
Tyler: Can't hit the broad side of a barn with darts.
Also Tyler: Ninja stars.
Neighbor: Damn it. The guys doing weird stuff in his yard again. If he gets that dummy out again I’m calling the HOA…
That fabric is kevlar.
And glad you explained how the chaps work, and did what I consider a good test!
It's probably not Kevlar™, but it looks like poly-paraphenylene terephthalamide haha 🌈
@@robertschnobert9090 is that the generic name for Kevlar?
I can vouch for those gloves, I use them all the time to clean the grill at my work, they let me get my hand directly above the grill for about 10 minutes while I clean it with mostly no problem
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! Glad you’re back tho 🙂
Man is about to come out with 50 back to back, “I left (item) in a jar for 30 days” 😂😂

I SCREAMED when you poured more liquid onto the fire.
and i screamed even louder when you did it again
He did it with a straight face.
That's mildly terrifying..
I'd do it with a smile, because I like fire...So..Extremely terrifying.
Cut resistant gloves are just for glancing blows and accidental slips, no one is going to be trying to saw their fingers off lol
I am a chef, I bought a cut resistant gloves for when I'm slicing tricky items. Like watermelons and green peppers and stuff. Saved me an ER visit at least once or twice
As lock picking lawyer has shown, cut proof is not a thing
@@ShockingPikachuhow about iron gauntlets?
@@ShockingPikachu Gloves are easier to cut-resist than bags. Plus bags are easy to use false advertisement lmao
Can't be a good chef if you're worried about your fingers cutting friggen green peppers.
@@Pix2links have you ever roll cut a bell pepper? Kinda dangerous if you are using a sharp knife. That's when I use the cut glove
I actually did this yesterday without the glove and cut my thumb open like a complete idiot
I get in plenty of Ninja star fights so I will definitely get those glasses but I will be sure to stay out of spear fights. Thanks for your help!
If it's not good enough for a spear fight then it's not good enough!
Just ask Wonder Woman.
I love how he uses the shiftyest plastic table to decide to test a charcoal grill on. Lmao 🤣 It's like revisiting my entire childhood watching Tyler test products.
When I saw Tyler testing the faceshield-goggles I thought it would be cool to test it against a pellet gun or an airsoft gun, it could be useful to know if they resist. Would love to see Tyler add these tools to his testing arsenal
Sadly, I’m pretty sure that if he had anything resembling a gun in a video it would probably be demonetized
He used a crossbow before
@@alexisatuatara570 keep it off camera 🤷♀️
He has used dart guns, blow guns, crossbows, and pellet guns. The pellet rifle is in the garage in the background. Previously he has said he can't shoot anything larger than the crossbow in his garage without the neighbours hearing, suggesting he owns a firearm. Love his vids, but he lack of safety in 99% of his vids means it probably better if he doesn't, besides he seems to have quite the mid evil arsenal
A direct hit from a pellet gun can easily pierce safety glasses i've tried it. It would protect your eyes from a ricochet however
Plot twist: the protective face shield was supposed to be a next level medical mask and never intended to be that strong,
Bruh I love how it protects everything but his beard. If I wanted this I'd do my beard instead so it doesn't burn
Is it me or do the gloves seem like the orange side was supposed to be the heat resistant side and the other was the cut resistant side? Is it only me notice that
Agreed. Looks like he had 2 right handed gloves
That is how they show it in the photos: orange part on the fire.
Its the same cuz when he cut the glow it had another white layer inside on both sides
@@bruhman1235 the orange grip is what keeps you from getting burnt right away and ables you to grab hot stuff
It’s the same because he cut through both sides
As one who cuts firewood for his stove, I am really glad to see the tests on the chainsaw chaps. Thanks.
No joke, I was dumb enough to cut firewood without chaps or proper shoes and damn near cut my foot off when the log slipped, that’s a mistake I only made once
Imagine Tyler is mowing the lawn and a ninja star just flies out and like stabs him
do you live in new mexico
Probably why he hasn’t posted in a while lol
This is why he does these tests
Well if there’s ones in the long grass the star will do that and worse.
I have seen more than a couple chainsaw accidents, those chaps would quite literally have been a life saver. good to know those worked so well. thanks. the glasses might have mostly worked, but I agree, if I want that kind of coverage, I have face shield for my lathe that I would use. as for the gloves, I'll stick with welding gloves for moving hot stuff around, and keep my hands out of my charcoal ;P
9:50 Tyler says yes god I’ll tie rope on it also but forgot to slap it and say it’s not going anywhere 😂
My friend and I were cutting trees. He pulled out a very old set of chaps and continued cutting. The blade bounced off the tree and hit his theigh. Thanks to those chaps all he had was a bruised ego and loaded pants. They saved his life. A must if doing a lot of cutting.
Worked with a guy who was experienced with chainsaws and he had regular work pants on and it happened so fast no one knew what happened until he collapsed. He cut into his thigh and I got to say it removes a good 1/4 inch wide cut and leaves it full of bar oil, and wood chips. It was a real eye opener. One of the reasons they purchased some of the protective equipment. It was years and someone got the saw into the chaps and they clogged the saw up before he got cut. I think seeing how it works help people understand and maybe purchase some of them.
The second I saw this title, I immediately said "Oh no!" And clicked as fast as I could.
No one asked.
Same here bahaha
Ha ha ha ha ha rofl haha lol lololol lmao haha ha rofl haha lol lmao lamolololrofllollmaohaha
He says "While I am here I am teach you how to properly light a charcoal grill" then demonstrates what not to do.
Anyone notice he had the gloves on backwards? Orange part was supposed to be the grippy part on the bottom of the hand.
i think there was only two right gloves
If you look fairly close, they also have those ruber pads but in black on the other side
Also he said "they only go to 900 degrees" and proceeds to touch coal at over 1000 degrees and wonders why his hand is burning 🤦♂️
@@BuddhaBoiBrett but when he put it in the coal for 5 seconds it was up to 300 degrees (c or f i dont know), heat has to travel so it won’t heat up immediately so your point is semi valid.
In the case of the safety shield vs. spear, that would've still protected the wearer though!
The primary function of safety equipment is to protect from all injury, but secondary is to protect from _fatal_ injury, and while you'd probably be scarred and definitely bleed, the spear _probably_ wouldn't have killed the wearer.
For the love of god please don't forget to find that ninja star BEFORE you mow your lawn ☠️
Ik 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Too late now but dragging a good sized magnet through the area would've been a smart idea.
8:36 all I can hear is Tim Allens grunting
Was thinking the same thing
You are like my Dad with lighter fluid. People get legitimately scared.
yet there driving around with over 10 gallons of gas & there afriad of 10ml of lighter fluid lol
@@user5.56 yeah and if that starts on fire you're going to have a bad day and it's going to start out with your skin starting to melt you don't want that. That no good for the epidermis
I kept waiting for it to go up the stream since he didn't break it. But I guess it was going to fast as he squeezed it.
I learned how to do this from my mom lighting grills too.
I now use these little bars I bought that burn for quite awhile to light my grills on fire. I found them amongst the lighter fluid & love them. A couple of those broke in half amongst the charcoal & there's no need to traumatize the neighbors.
Holy cow he’s back 😁😁 I’ve waited awhile for this! Yay ❤️
Can we take a minute to appreciate how beautifully clear that ballistics gel is?
It’s normally so yellow
Tyler is so dedicated to bringing us content that he will use a gas chainsaw indoors with the door closed and no proper ventilation.
Thats dedication right there! xD
08:56 The purpose is to stop the spinning of the saw chain, that's what all the fibers are for.
I would have loved to know what his neighbors thought about the chain saw sounding off in the garage
I don’t know what’s more dangerous him using the saw or running the saw in a closed garage lol.
Am I the only one that heard "Tim the Toolman Taylor" grunting when he revved the chainsaw?? I have to know if it was just me...
I heard the same thing
Wow those chainsaw pants really did their job. I’m really impressed.
Long time no see tyler! Glad your back :)
I really enjoy videos like this. Awesome review Tyler
Love that there's a windows right behind where you are throwing thing. Nice.
Everybody knows that when he has Amazon or Wish in the title it's gonna be good
Man the vinyl siding of that house is going to meet an untimely doom someday.
This sounds stupid but thx for getting the sponsorship out of the way in the beginning
Sooo, I've watched every single one of your videos in the past week. You're great! Also, anytime I say something, you say it right after 👀 like a mind reader, lol. I laugh a lot and get very intrigued by your videos. Great work and keep it up!
Missed u man! Need more tyler in my life !
One of the ninja stars nearly went straight into the window. Still hasnt learned I see
Towards, it dropped before the window but yea lol I noticed that too
Are you lighting a charcoal grill at 5am Tyler? That sounded like a morning bird
It's 4am, you're sleeping peacefully, everything is quiet...
YOUR NEIGHBOR STARTS TESTING CHAINSAWS IN HIS GARAGE AND STARTING FIRES IN HIS BACK YARD.
Oh, it's just Tyler. Everything is normal.
I’ve never been to any video this early
Glad to have you back, 💪🍻 love your videos.
Well look who's back it's Tyler i was wondering where he went it's nice to see he finally uploaded a video.
I always love seeing your content in my feed! It’s entertaining af every time 😁
I've used welding gloves to move charcoal and fire logs around
i'm waiting for that glass to break one day lol.
"Oh, good, he does at least know to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning." *two minutes later, he brings the grill into the garage*
Ikr
6:31 you heard it here first people do not go into a spear fight with those safety goggles. A dart and slingshot fights are OK. Lmfao love this dude
Tylertube: Makes a video testing safety gear
Also Tylertube: Stares at fire intensely while hosing it down with lighter fluid
Dis is da way
I like how his window is behind the board so if he has a bad misthrow it tests his Windows too
Am I the only one that sees the irony in Tyler being sponsored by a razor?
Razors can be used for grooming, not just shaving.
Aleo,balls
Tyler: as the kids would say this would be lit
Also Tyler: starts a hole Forest fire
RIP all the factory workers who were killed in the workplace by ninja stars randomly coming at their face
Why do I just want to punch a ballistic jelly with everything iv got
Those chaps worked pretty good, but really good quality chaps jam the chainsaw so bad you have to take the it all apart to remove the strands, and even then you might ruin the saw anyways
I enjoy hearing those birds chirping in your back yard.
Plot twist. He does all his outside stuff in the FRONT yard.
LMAO...
Think the best way to test the chaps would be to have the gel the long way the same direction as the chain so it doesnt roll
I think maybe a good place for the Board you’re throwing things at might not be right behind the only window in the back of your house 😂
Finnaly Your Back Tyler. :-)
Took so long to post a video they came out with a 4.0 🤣 glad you're good keep on posting lol
You should start a testing amazon series expensive vs cheap or just random amazon products
Goodness! been awhile glad to see a new vid thanks!
I am a bodytech and grind metal alot so those safety glasses would be nice I have a full snap on welding/grinding helmet that is quite cumbersome
It’s crazy how fast and accurately I can skip the sponsored part of RUclips videos lmao. As soon as I hear “but first” I already know the “this video is sponsored by.....” is coming next lmao
My mom had a couple of those face shield goggles, it was given to her by her job during the pandemic. She never liked wearing them so eventually, me & my dad ended up using them when working in the garage.
Hes in for a surprise when he mows his lawn. Hes going to mow over ball bearings and a ninja star
Welcome back Tyler (:
interesting video testing stuff like this can help save someone from injury shown By those Bad gloves.
I like the way that of all places to test the face shield, he chooses below the window.
Tyler: "Wireless" Me: Sees the wire"🧐🤨🥸
"As the kids say these days we're going to get lit"
Tyler-2021
No one :
Tyler : ( slaps loudly at the ballistic gell)
With the chaps that is what they are supposed to do. Instead of stopping the cutting it’s designed to block and choke up the chain which explains why it is less effective in high torque.
Thank you thank you, I have been checking everyday for an upload. 😁😁😁😁😁
The grill glove I use came from lowes and I can handle burning coals and wood with them I use em with my smoker all the time when I have to move the wood to get more to fit
The safety glasses thing
Tyler: These suck
TSA in airport: The gods have given me a gift
Been waiting so long 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
This is the type of guy that would be the best friend!
And warns you when filming his testing vids, so you can be ready to go at any moment. Lol
I'm not surprised the ear piece on the safety glasses broke, it is the weak spot.
As for the chainsaw chaps, the material might be made of Kevlar or another strong, finely spun fabric. Also even though you didn't cut your leg off you will have some damage, bruising mostly at best, a fractured or broken leg at the worst ( personally I'd go to the local ready med or hospital just in case).
Bro idk hoe u don't have a mil subs yet u should you're great fam plz never stop youre beard is motivation fam in time where it's rough for me during covid I am dead broke going threw alot depression because of it but you're Vids I look forward to their random but you're light that makes things better than dark keep it up thank-you
Almost broke the window with the star 😂😂
Let’s goooo Tyler is back!
You don’t have to stick your hand in a red hot grill Tyler!!😂😂😂 I loved the video though!!
It's okay for one to test chainsaw safety gear with a chainsaw whilst not wearing any chainsaw safety gear. Project Farm would approve! LOL
It's been a little bit. Glad to see you back.
You shouldn't run a gas engine in a closed garage or bring burning charcoal indoors. Next thing we'll be hearing on the newS "man dies from carbon monoxide poisoning from chainsaw"
