I’ve never heard of any artist doing this; and so effortlessly beautiful, too. Betty, James and Inez are the names of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds real life children. The names are an ode for her affection for them and their children, whom she absolutely adores. They call her Aunt Tay. They thought that singing was a hobby for her until they went to their first concerts (with ear protection), and their eyes were wide like saucers. She made sure to say “My favorite people: James, Inez and Betty!” while they were there. They were beaming from their excitement. She loves them like they were her own. Taylor was in her bag in Folklore because she was able to write whatever she wanted/needed to and AFTER it was done, that’s when she told her label and they were very supportive and said they would support anything that she wanted to. Like you’d say no to a brand new Taylor Swift album, ready to go? Then she goes and writes Evermore 8 months later. The woman cannot sit still. Haha.
