  • This mall closed down in January 2018 and Sears closed in September 2018. Sorry guys, I really wished I could make this video longer but unfortunately I got caught by a security guard. Didn’t know they still had a video camera around there that I didn’t see lol. At least I got to show something of this place, which is a gem for any other people passionate about going to abandoned stores/places of nature and what not.

Depressing, this was my favorite mall back in the '90s. It had a stranger selection of stores compared to other malls, stuff I enjoyed like a comic book store, a hobby store and a musical instrument store.

Yeah, nowadays malls don't have those type of stores. I guess that's how it was during the 90s, the good old times. I would do anything to go back into the 90s!

When the Willingboro Plaza closed up, the stores from there moved here when this was finished being built. I used to love shopping here in the 80s & 90s. Brings back lots of memories for me.

Things were way better back then, commercials had more character, movies looked more realistic, there was less technology so you were living the moment more, etc. It will never be the same, society has changed for the worse.

I grew up in this area in the early-mid 2000s within walking distance of this mall. I have memories of visiting this mall with my family 15 years ago, and even then it was sketchy. We started going out to Moorestown or Cherry Hill to shop instead. Last time I visited Burlington Center was maybe 6-7 years ago and it had really gone downhill. It’s shocking for me to see the state of the exterior now....to see this place I visited in my childhood look post-apocalyptic today.

The first and last time I was at this mall was December 11th, 2018. I was able to see a little more inside but everything was locked up. some of the outdoor stairs were accessible but not much could be seen from them, and I couldn't get a good glimpse inside to see where the elephant statue stood or if it was still there. Well, for me personally some of these places bring back memories when I used to go inside stores like Bradlees, Caldor, Modell's, Kmart, Sears, etc. And all these stores are either closed or dying a slow death right now. I also get requests from people for abandoned/closed places to record.

Just look at my vids and you’ll see. I did a video of an abandoned Caldor in Middletown, NY, a couple Bradlees in NJ, an Ames in Wrightstown, NJ. Those are some old retailers that are not alive anymore. What are the abanonded places that you know?
