    Best chess game run-through on youtube honestly. The way you explain the games and the ideas behind each move is so educational and helpful for us lower-level chess players. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next video

    Ke7 is a beautiful activation of the king for the endgame, reminds me of Kd2 by Rubenstein in a famous endgame win against Carl Schlecter.I never have had great success with the Benko Gambit, though it is undoubtedly good. Well played Will.

  • @joewatt3394

    at 12:14 white couldve done knighte5 check, then pawn takes, then rookc5 which wouldve ruined the forking of the king and rook. thoughts?

    • @willtaylorchess
      @willtaylorchess  Год назад

      interesting idea bro, I think at that point, I'm just up a knight for a pawn though and the win should be secured from there

    Wait wait wait. I’m only a minute and a half into the video, but why doesn’t his opponent take willys knight with his queen? Black takes with the pawn and it blunders a rook but it looks like a free knight if black takes with the queen??
