10:06 if you play e6 and he playsRb1 you have opened up e7 for the queen, maybe a bit defensive but it’s is good to make everything solid before trying to win a technical endgame. Not sure, let’s see what the game review says. Your idea of swapping a pair of rooks first was better. That was a very nice win I think b6 would have worked. I requested a game with you on lichess would like to face your Alekhines defence. Thanks Will.
game review completely agrees with you mate! Do you mind if I ask roughly how old you are as you're clearly a strong player and I was just wondering if that's from being a seasoned vet of the game or you're actually an incredibly articulate 12 year old prodigy?
@@willtaylorchess I am 62 and really a little in decline, gladly I have kept up my attacking style. I played school and college leagues in Lancashire, local league in Lancashire, played in the Coventry and district league at uni. And then again back to local league. Now I live in the northernmost part of Norway, no chess league here. I run the local club and train all the newbies and youngsters. So I guess it is seasoned veteran. Cheers Will
And the fact that you got away with this all as black is just unreal...... definitely cover more openings with similar ideas bro this was some dope gameplay 🫡❤
Certified wasteman behaviour😂

We love to see it
such a cool way to play imo
I'm going to invent an opening where you just move the knight back and forth 6 times and call it theory
@@willtaylorchess sounds like the longest string of theory i know is 6 moves
@@MarshyDitch 100 percent standard theory
It exists tho, it was made by a guy in poland
Good version of Alekhine defense!
