  • In this video I show you how to color your hair with Just For Men, Easy Comb-In hair dye, while avoiding unwanted staining of your skin. The color I use is A-55 Real Black. Which did turn out a very nice black. Petroleum Jelly was used to provide a protective barrier from staining, by applying a light layer to the areas I was trying to avoid, like skin on my neck, ears, and face. Dying your hair is often a great way to look more put together, younger, and often even more professional.
    I hope this helps you out, stay amazing.

    I used this product for my beard/mustache. Works flawlessly! And best part, it lasts a heck of a lot longer than the beard/mustache product they sell in the blue/white box. Thanks for the review!

      @@DonaldWilson I just tried it and wanted to share what I hope will be a few helpful notes.
      1. Definitely apply petroleum jelly to the perimeter of each ear. That seems to be the place where you're most likely to mis-apply the hair color because it's harder to see where the comb is going.
      2. If you used the previous (no comb) version of Just for Men, then you're probably accustomed to applying very generously and still having about half of the dye left. That's not the case with the comb-in product. The amount supplied is roughly equal to the amount needed. Because of this, I suggest that you make sure everything gets covered with the "first coat." After that, if you have any product left over, you can go back and touch up the areas you think need more coverage.
      3. I usually purchased Just for Men at the local Walgreen's, but they've pulled it off the shelves for now. I'm not sure if the FDA has a problem with one of the dye products. I had no luck on Amazon either, but I did find it on eBay.

    do the chemicals smell really bad? any side effects?

    • @DonaldWilson
      @DonaldWilson  18 дней назад +1

      Good question, Honestly they do not have a strong smell and beside the hair feeling a little different for a few days, I do not know a serious side effect, unless you happen to be allergic. I would not over use it though or I might find a side effect, I think it is like all things moderation in use is best.

    I noticed on your video that not all grey hair became black. Some of them remained. Why? And the other quiestion: can you color the grey eyebrows black with it?

    • @DonaldWilson
      @DonaldWilson  10 месяцев назад +1

      I agree, and honestly I do not have any idea why some hair does not take the dye, I have even had messages from people saying they get considerably less effective dying, which does make me wonder what the difference in hair is. I honestly do not know what though. On the eyebrow dying question I asked a AI and this was the response it gave me:
      You should not use box hair dye on your eyebrows. The chemicals in hair dye are too harsh for the sensitive skin around your eyes. Using hair dye on your eyebrows can also cause:
      Irritation
      Dripping into your eyes
      Color that doesn't come out the way you want
      Color that's not stable
      Instead, you can use dye designed for facial hair, such as beard and mustache dye. This type of dye is specially formulated for the delicate skin on the face and is less likely to cause irritation. It's also a thicker product that's easier to control and less likely to drip into your eyes.
      You can also try using a semi or demi permanent dye. Permanent hair color can be too harsh for the skin on your face.

      Yah I have just used glove before and worked it in well, it works just as well. I always feel my beard is a little extra dry after coloring it, so I think it helps to use some conditioner in it and beard oil. Best of luck and stay epic.

    Can I use this one on my beard?

    • @DonaldWilson
      @DonaldWilson  Год назад +2

      I have before, I got a lot of feedback letting me know that beard hair was different and it would not last as long. I was ok with that, because I used the remaining hair dye to color my beard after dying my hair as a bonus. I also will say I have used the beard dye also and I honestly can not tell a big difference, both seem to work well either way.
