I've used Just for Men beard and mustache color (M-35) for years as my beard greyed faster than the hair on my head... good product and fairly foolproof.
The before and after is impressive. Your beard looks much better with the dye. You might want to go one shade lighter with the dye and jump in the shower to shampoo the dye out
I used the product years ago when I had a goatee. In the beginning, it looked fake, but after a few days, the color softened so it looked more natural.
I've lived far too many decades to care about the color of my beard or hair (what's left of it), but if I were into it, you made a pretty good argument for that product.
At 45, my beard turned grey, it easily added 15 years to my appearance. I’ll always remember my 11 yo daughter’s laugh when a waitress asked if I wanted my senior citizen discount. I shaved my beard the next day. I miss my beard.
Great how to video! It looks good. I have used the same due product and have gotten good results like you did. I use it 2-3 times a year….the first time I used it I rinsed like you in the sink never again way to messy shower eliminates that.

Great video! 👍 I would recommend a good conditioning mask before using any sort of dye product. Especially if you are prone to breakage, split ends or brittle beard hair. Apply a liberal amount of warm coconut oil to the hair and leave on for about an hour, thoroughly wash the hair with a light detergent or a sulfate free shampoo before applying the chemical dye. The coconut oil can also help prevent against any skin irritation. A good alternative for chemical hair dyes is mixing water with black walnut powder(make sure your'e not allergic) or a henna based hair dye. Also want to make sure after chemically dyeing the hair to close the cuticle by spraying or wetting down the hair with a 50/50 dilution of apple cider vinegar and water. Let sit for 3-5 minutes then rinse out after with cold water. Apply a good balm or leave in conditioner after!
I sorta chuckle a bit when guys in their 40s-50s or older talk about accepting the way they look. I went completely gray in my late 20s, in my 40s I’m seeing completely white areas cropping up. You better believe I fight as hard as I can against the way I look 😂

I think it looks ace 👌 you should of done the hair to to complete look. I did my man's hair and beard and I have to say I think he looks so much better .

Ok so I got JFM from Amazon - the salt and pepper version. But mine did not come with any of that white activator stuff. And i think that’s why mine doesn’t work. It washes immediately out. Gone. But it will stain my skin. I don’t know. Doesn’t seem to work. Maybe I got screwed and my kit was wrong? Idk i just grew my beard out for the first time ever and found it has too much white.
Hey Matt! I actually dye my beard because it turns completely white. I use a kit very similar in which I purchase at the Dollar Tree for $1.25! It works great for me! I can adjust the shade by increasing or decreasing the color base. Most of those dye kits are way too pricey. Thanks for the video! JimG
All jokes aside, it doesn't match the hair anymore but I think it came out well. Did exactly what it was supposed to do, and quickly. It's not for everyone but I'd call it a success.
My beard has turned white over the past six years. I don’t think i would color my beard, but if i did, i would color it in such a way the chin would stay white buy the mustache would be colored like a Fu Man Chu.

I think you should ask your wife what she thinks? If she likes it then keep doing it. If not then go back natural. I tried it a couple of times and it was okay. I wont do it now because everyone at my job knows Im gray and if I show up to work with a dark goatee it woulf be akward.
Of all the videos I've made this one was personally very embarrassing for me. I didn't want to do it and felt silly coloring my beard. But I did it as a way for others to see how to and what to expect. I mask feeling uncomfortable with humor.

It looked to me like you have a fair amount of lighter brown in your beard. I would have tried to match that rather than the darkest part.
All jokes aside, it doesn't match the hair anymore but I think it came out well. Did exactly what it was supposed to do, and quickly. It's not for everyone but I'd call it a success.
I used for a while back about 7 or so years ago but then, I started reacting to the dye. I had to stop using it.
