@@silverpro8356 no coil whine so far. Im using it a lot and no problems. Warzone runs around 100 fps at max settings. But remember that usually the gpu in laptops are a lot less powerful that the desktop gpu
Make sure everything is updated this is a brand new system I had many issues with charging but the newest bios fixed everything literally and reinstalled battery drivers and now it’s perfect

This was like 10yrs ago but that’s the reason i switched to console and never got a laptop again. Now im looking to get one after all this time but trying to stay clear of Asus despite several options being near perfect for me

@@liebert4913 for valorant at max settings on the 4090 config gives you an avg fps of 300-670 depending on the game mode you play, on the lowest possible setiings you will get 450-890 fps again depending on the game modes. for fortnite at max, u will get 90-140 with rt using dlss at balanced, on the lowest possible settings, on performance, u can expect around 370 fps
Bro try using a diff background cuz those video backgrounds do make systems slower in general. Also check your power settings. In bios and in control panel.
Yes , the USBC charge port is limited to 100W .. which (when using the laptop/s display + performance) is not enough to sustain the load. What the USBC PD should/is intended to be used is with external monitor .. that way you don't use your laptop's monitor and I think in that scenario the laptop should be able to sustain the load on only 100W in normal browsing, youtube, desktop stuff. (At Least my old AsusRog is not going above 60W of power juice in these kind of tasks, when connected to external monitor) Nevertheless.. having USBC power charge as an alternative helpes a lot in tight situations when you need to charge it while turned off or such (cause everyone has a compatible charger for their phones)

I have the msi cyborg 15 and no issues for 3 months, people mad hating on this 45watt but I choose it over the katana and cuz it was the first 4060 laptop I could get for 1250 while 3050 laptops where still being sold for 1300 in store in Netherlands. Cyborg build quality is better than GF and Katana and with a bit of resize bar performance comes pretty far. Even heavier titles are running wel now that frame gen is more implemented. usefull in single player games not so much in multiplayer. Also fsr 3 mod is applicable to any game And my desktop 3070 I upgraded to rx 7800xt nitro + amazing card so far. Performance between a 4070 and 4080.
those are bad masi models, cheap low end models, besides msi laptops only the higher end ones are ok, even their higher ends models have bad hinge designs that will break itself after 3 years lol

Most laptops have problems with screen bleeding due to their mid-tier LCD screens, the only screen you won't see that happening is probably on laptops $1700 +, I have owned now 2 laptops (Acer Helios 300 2021) and (Asus Rog Strix g16 2023), I can tell you that though they suffer from screen bleeding, often it is just a bit on the sides of the screen, and not like the WHOLE border of the screen. With temperatures, if you like in a pretty hot environment then don't expect your laptop to smoothly handle the temps inside of it, temps around 80° Celsius are normal om these types of gaming laptop, my tip? Get a little desktop fan and a laptop stand if possible, that will keep your pc cool even with a really hot weather AND will help you give some rest to your laptop so it won't degrade AS fast. The only thing you may have to worry is about cleaning the dust of the fans every 2 years or so!
Will never buy Asus again. Worst out of the 4 brands I have owned. The one Asus I owned is trash and no longer own. I still have the OG Razer Blade Pro from years ago with a 1080 in it. Only problem is the CPU is so old I can't put W11 on it. Have a GE-73 from MSi with a 1080 that still runs. My laptop I use is the Alienware Are 51-M with 9600K desktop CPU and 2080 in it. Have had it since release date. At the 2 year mark the GPU failed in it and Dell sent someone to my house to replace it. have had it for for about 2 years since the replacement and zero issues.
ASUS products suck in 2023. A lot of folks are having problems with all the strix and scar units. They have bad thermal design, stuttering in tons of games. I tried to tell ASUS my scar 16 didn’t seem right but they didn’t care. I bought a Lenovo pro 7i and its night and day difference. No issues, better temps, no stuttering. People can doubt me all they want but ASUS simply isn’t what it used to be. There’s no excuse for how expensive these units are. I suggest you send it back within the return window, get your money back and buy a comparable product from Lenovo, MSi or hell even Alienware as we weird as they sounds. At least Alienware as stellar warranty support as does MSi and Lenovo.

You don’t have to take my word for it. There’s other comparisons on RUclips. Gizmo slip tech did a perfect side by side with the same units I own. Just do search ScAr 16 vs Lenovo pro 7i. You’ll see his 1+ hour cut down video doing a side by side showing the pro 7i running cooler and getting better performance. That’s why I moved my scar 16 to the basement to do my media server work. These ASUS units are garbage this year in 2023.
@AMR yes true, it is not acceptable at all, at this price range of laptop it should work properly for long time. But the thing is just a few days it stop working due to some faulty parts, where is the QA?
@Oliver Tejada the battery doesn't work whenever you unplug it. And when you boot it plug-in the battery stay the same percentage when was left. Take note it is new less than 10 days, I haven't used it for gaming nor 3d works, just typing, youtube.

Sounds like a Power Distribution issue. USB vs pc adapters have various different wattage output limits

@AMR yes true, it is not acceptable at all, at this price range of laptop it should work properly for long time. But the thing is just a few days it stop working due to some faulty parts, where is the QA?

@Oliver Tejada the battery doesn't work whenever you unplug it. And when you boot it plug-in the battery stay the same percentage when was left. Take note it is new less than 10 days, I haven't used it for gaming nor 3d works, just typing, youtube.

Yes. Defective ac charger. Warranty change it and now is working fine
