I just made my old Squier into a vandalism strat, and I love the look, it's awesome, but I don't have the vandalism sticker, but it still looks really cool, and it also doesn't have a humbucker, I just have a black single coil in the bridge, I still absolutely love it

I put a Duncan Distortion in my 2015 American Special Strat back in 2018 just because I already had a JB in two of my Fenders already. It turns out that using my Strat for some of my Nirvana tribute shows was more accurate than even I knew at the time.
good stuff man! I prefer the earlier angled bucker with traditional bridge and Fender neck, that looked amazing. I can't get into the Kramer headstocks, but hey they were needed and definitely served their purpose. lol

I've recently acquired a small clone and the power supply I got is VERY noisy so the 1 Spot will be perfect for a less noisy setup. And the M audio fast track is around 30GBP on Ebay, which is around 37USD 😁

I was looking at the live Nirvana website and on 7/4/92 there’s a pic of Kurt smashing a black Strat, it could be the other one with the white pick guard but you can only see the back of the guitar so maybe that’s when he smashed the Tom strat
