@@marco_evertus alot of car companies are doing this they put an artificial sound through the speakers making it sound aggressive from the cabin but outside it sounds like a vacuum cleaner because of the stupid opf filter that ruins the hot hatchbacks

Do you feel the difference between this GTD and the GTI , in terms of proformance and driving experience !? Anyway great video bro 🤙❤️
Front end is heavier I think, GTD also shifts more, better lower end torque. GTI you need to rev out more to get in the power, GTD is a bit less gear sensitive.
@@greaser3069 yeah Gti fells way better, still has plenty of torque low end, better sound, I think Gti is a better driving experience in almost everything, since I own both i can tell u that handling is basically the same, only difference is that when braking really hard rear end gets lighter on the gtd because of the engine weight. I suggest to do a remap on gtd, did it and now it pulls almost like Gti, but has more torque and that's amazing, and well I can also get 22 km/l, with the Gti around 14/15 km/l

Finde es persönlich cool, dass auch die Diesel-Golf in der 200 PS-Liga angekommen sind. Auch wenn das, ich fahre selbst einen GTD der 7. Generation, nicht nötig wäre mit so vielen PS mehr.
VW hätte deinen 7. GTD auch schon mit 200ps herausbringen können anstelle der 184ps, ...
Die heutigen Motoren sind allesamt Verarschung pur! Alles aufgebauscht mit Turbos, welche im schlimmsten falle kaputt gehen.

Skoda wird's freuen, die können dann eventl. besser den Octavia RS TDI verkaufen, den gibt's nämlich mit dem 200 PS Diesel ...

Marcus how does the engine compare against the mk 7.5 is the extra hour and rehearing noticeable or about the same. Also that noise actuator can it be turned off (thinking of the kids at night)
The noise is only in sport mode:)

hello can you tell me your feelings about this diesel engine? I'm interested, there is turbo lag? acceleration? it s the same engine as the skoda octavia RS that I bought, thanks!!
I test drive one today and had previously vrs 2.0 petrol. it will surprise you how fast it is fast response in every gear on diesel engine it's great, same as diesel vrs think the vw is more responsive than vrs. But waiting time to get one is crazy do to covid.

Marcus, have you ever drove the Golf 7 GTD? If so, do you notice quite a difference in performance?
This new GTD is pretty quick for 200hp & 400nm torque. I'd say its more like 210-215hp and 430nm torque.
The 100-200 time on gps is about 20 seconds, thats a figure you can see with a remapped golf 7 GTD.
I've never driven the Golf 7 GTD. I only have the comparison to the Golf6 GTD

So langsam macht sich der Golf 8, zumindest äußerlich. Ich vermisse trotzdem noch ein paar Qualitätshighlights vom 7er und ein etwas anderes Bedienkonzept

Der GTD ist ja ab 160mk/h echt träge für seine 200PS.
244km/h TopSpeed Bergab laut Tacho (per GPS vielleicht 237km/h) bei einer Werksangabe von 245km/h 😳schwache Leistung!
Es wäre gut wenn du bei deinen POVs auch mal GPS mit zeigen würdest!
ist halt nen diesel . die sind obenrum immer schwach. dafür hast du damit einen heidenfahrspaß.
bin selber nach vielen jahren benziner auf den diesel umgestiegen - macht einfach viel mehr freude. besseres ansprechverhalten, souveränere laufruhe

Random question because I'm struggling to find any info. What is the standard sound system like. My a3 is quite punchy for stock. Just wondered as I'm torn between the gtd, or get the rline but with a few extras
Hi Ashley just picked one up in black and sound system is perfectly fine tbh, playing Amazon music through apple carplay is also excellent, tried android auto but v flaky...car itself superb I've had up to 64mpg driving normally on a mixed run of 100 miles
What A3 do you have? I have the 1.5 TFSI and its decent enough. I'm possibly looking to change to the new GTD too but by God it will be difficult leaving that Bang & Olufsen system behind!
@@asbost01 I have a 21 plate a3 35 tfsi. Sound system is OK. Far better then the golf's GTD. Only think I liked on the GTD was the extra power. Everything else is far superior on the Audi. Its just going to take time getting the sound system to sound perfect. Shame I'm into so many diff genres 🤣
To add.. had several big Audis the problem on smaller ones was rock hard suspension so the GTD (70 plate) with standard System is fine by me, each to his own;)

Denk mal darüber nach, warum die Hersteller das machen. Viele wollen einen sportlichen Sound, aber mit den Vorgaben ist es einfach nicht mehr ohne technische Hilfe zu realisieren.

Mate, there is something wrong with your car, it's not right, take it to the vw garage ASAP and get it fixed...it's missing all the faults... selector lever error...drive assist error...do not drive error , low voltage error...need a new friggin module error...need a new steering wheel error...gonna spend 3 months in the garage error....1 year later and out of warranty but still have issues error....I don't care how much you paid for it error..error after error error...buy a box of matches and torch it while you can

100-200 on GPS is about 20 seconds. Automann-TV already did it that measurement.
In this video it did 100-200 in 19.8 seconds on the speedo but it was slight uphill, so thats not a fair measurement.

Slow for 200 HP , I see the new Octavia with 150 HP (2.000) and I believe is faster than Golf GDT. Maybe the engine (GOLF) need some km.

Slow for 200hp? Chief, this car did 100-200 in 20.1 seconds on GPS. The new Octavia with 2.0tdi 150hp does that in 30+ seconds... Im sure this car has more than 200hp, its probaly 210-215 ish.
