I bought one and it broke down in six months...the customer service from the vending shop trying to convince me it is normal for an electronic to break down in six months.
The fact that there is no highlighted comment from Hisense Company Rep. is insane. I know this video was made 3yrs ago. There are new Hisense models in the market. Someone from Hisense should say something. Rational consumers like me search for enough info before buying. This video and comments from other experienced customers made me doubt my decision to buy 58" Hisense A6K. of which is latest 2024 if i am not mistaken.
@@beastairdrops5236 Few days later after my comment I ended up buying a TCL 65'...Imported from USA. A few weeks after getting my new TCL, I took my old Samsung TV for a minor fix, in the technicians office, I found at least 5 Hisense 43' + waiting to be fixed. I was the only customer with Samsung. Didn't find TCL either.
I have two hisense TVs. A 58" in my bedroom and a 65" in my livingroom. I have never had a problem with either. Now I did have a 65" tcl that was junk. lasted a whole year before dying
These TV's are truly dogsh*t Hisense USB ports won't read anything with over 32 gigabyte of memory, now considering the average UHD movie file is 50g these things are useless.
@@pollocksjones7789 I don't use the USB ports for that so I wouldn't know. What I have is an android box connected to HDMI. Then I have a two tb hard drive connected to that. Works great for me. I have over 800 of my favorite movies and TV shows and that's how I watch them.

I work in a shop in the tv department we sell many tv brands in europe and the only brand that has angry customers was Hisense they just bring tv back and ask for refunds just avoid it and you will be fine
Anyone who thinks Hisense makes products like other manufacturers, all you have to do is pull one apart. Panel is mounted and affixed using double-sided tape, double-sided tape to affix the base diffuser layer, diffuser box affixed with double sided adhesive (the only manufacturer I know of that does anything like this). They wire up the LEDs with a fail sense that disables the entire backlight if one LED fails. They use garbage-tier no-name electrolytic caps that fail (the most likely failure-state featured in this video). They’re designed to be unfixable, using the cheapest components available. Never, ever buy a Highsense product, you’re not getting a deal. You don’t have to take my word for it, just watch any of the attempted Highsense repair videos on YT.
Yes I would def avoid Hisense tv or mostly their products also.. i bought the 43 inch and has the same problem as yours but mine on and off at the google screen.. tried CS call.. no answer, did twitter and IG dms.. also no answer.. but they did replied after 1 months LOL..and after 2 weeks of dming they decided to take the tv for repairs.. after 2 months of repairs LOL.. i got the tv back.. they said it's a PCD error so they replaced that... but now the tv just automatically turned on my itself after 10min after i turned it OFF so i just unplug the tv till now..i couldn't bothered to wait with the long dm replies another couple months of repair, and when NOW when I watch neflix sometimes it goes to the google screen AGAIN... and My conclusion is - - - - just buy other brands .. and that's my experience.. take care
DONT GET A HISENSE TV Just get a LG or Samsung tv. We have a 4K hisense tv and its so slow it takes about 3 seconds to respond to anything when on the home page. Also annoying advertisements pop up, which i know is more android tv fault, but still Meanwhile the smaller LG tv we have is actually responsive and that little pointer thing makes it better as well. webOS is also better in everyway than androidtv. I dont have a samsung smart tv, but i can assume that its better than hisense
we have a new u8h and the voice remote to c hange channels doesn' work, they say it is not supported, wrong. don't buy a hisense unless the customer service is better. they will never call you back, the they have no idea what they are talking about.
This are just TV's, you buy a $20,000 or $700 tv there is nothing different this time. You watch the same. Some of us we don't even TV's for longer period because we are always busy.
Too vague. Which models? Even though this video is only 3 years old, it feels like a long time ago in Hisense's history. However, I have no insight as to whether they've improved or not. Many brands these days for any form of goods are bad for longevity, particularly the cheaper models. Stuff isn't built to last. As to how much worse Hisense is, I don't know.
@@medronareport Maybe so. You didn't mention the model(s). Any proper figires around other than your band experience? My point was the quality of products in the last 5 or so years for many brands have plummeted to the point I have little faith in any of them unless it is their flag ship. But even then it is a roll of the dice. Warranties are fairly low for products in general these days. Mut gut feeling would say the cheaper brands like Hisense are worst, but I couldn't say that as a fact.
I wonder if the led's connected to the RV was causing the issue. Obviously you don't understand the retail laws, a few mths out of warranty doesn't mean you don't have a claim.
i have a hisense tv from around two years ago. i am happy with it. i never used the "smart" functions, because its chinese and because i have my ps4 hooked up. its cheap (~300€ for a 43"display) bright has 4 hdmi ports and a composite video input BUT sounds like shit so i got my mother 15year old computer speakers
