I know that sergeant personally he started as a PCSO. He is a good lad and very laid back in his approach His name is Ed Lyons and is harmless. He hasnt changed one bit. I've known him from 2009 he obviously joined up as a regular and has been promoted since.
The problem with the police now is that they want everyone to have a humanities degree but no life experience. Old mate Ed here doesn’t give a shit because he’s got far more to worry about, and being a sarge, probably exposes him to more rules and regulations and decision making actions.
Sergeant chill. Respect. I bet he’s an absolute brute with arrests though, makes sure paper work is bullet proof so guilty parties get convicted without using a loophole to avoid jail.
Sarge definitely knew the Karen was going to be hassle and I bet they've crossed paths before. He probably thought "WTF does she want this time..." Great audit AB, nice to see they were pretty much polite and non hostile. Maybe word is finally getting around now?

Things you could do with the unclaimed collar. 1. Put it under the windscreen wiper. 2. Throw it on the front seat of a plod mobile. 3. Attach it to the antenna. 4. Hog tie both plod legs together with it. 5. Replace it with their cuffs. 6. Tag it with the sausage plod name and "collar" number from the Hertfordshire parts 1 and 2 videos then hand it in to their station. Yes, ABs videos always cheer me up. 🤣 😂 🤣
Such an amazingly chilled & laid back audit there AB. Maybe they are going to change the name from "Divisional" HQ to "Correctional" HQ and that collar means in future you will be able to request a leather bound collared "PET" cop so you are safe to go out wandering at night hahaha!!!

That sarge gave one of the best responses I've ever seen to an auditor - complete indifference. He shooed that Karen back into the door and chatted away, he asked questions in a non-confrontational manner and didn't abuse his authority. Seems the spliffs they hand out at morning parade work wonders!
This Sgt made me laugh, he was so laid back and half expected him to shrug his shoulders at the Karen haha. He did look like he'd just woke up but he was chill and knew your rights, knew the law and knew when it was acceptable to use powers. AB you tried to bait him into losing his cool by repeating that he had no powers just to be met with a chuckle every time, AB met his match with this Sgt for sure!
AB, what a paradigm shift with regards to how you are received in comparison to your earlier audits. It has to be said, that was an infectiously hilarious audit to date!
