I saw just this afternoon this touching episode on a local italian network and in italian language (I'm italian and i live in Italy). I'm very happy to have found this english version, i didn't understand all words but only a few. However, an excellent exercise to understand english better and better!
Oh my, I'm good till about the last 5 minutes...That last scene with Alisha hugging Mr. Edwards with the voice over of the mother does me in every time... Pass the tissues! ;o)
This time is also moving. However, I never thought that this oldest brother would have such a development in a later time. When I go out to the city, the contents change by all means ... It's exactly what Mary told him.

@hexdrill Well, I really rarely cry over anything on TV or anything at all. This episode got me a little teary eyed too though, but there are some Little House episodes that get me crying with tears flowing down to the floor. Some episodes bring joy and some shock me with the realities of life and gets me thinking. This must be one of the best shows ever made.
