CJC Old Bird race #5 250 miles from Somerset PA. The birds were held back till 9:30AM due to foggy conditions. I got 20/25 back over 3 days. The return rates were really bad.

Yup it was a rough one for sure. Seems like every race from the 250 station ends up being bad.. Maybe they need to skip that release station.. Who is the friend in Cali that you mention?

Oregon, 40 minutes from Portland. Nice place, but too much rain. Originally from California. I lived in California for 54 years.
It was another tough race out of the infamous 250 miles station area. Your first and white birds did very well.

Yea for the White Bird....I enjoy seeing colored birds do well.

Yeah, they definitely should consider changing the liberation spot for the 250 mile race. I have a video about visiting my friend in CA. Check it out.
