@@thcreefer1986 Thank you my friend! Don’t be too nervous! I know the feeling. However if you have done the homework and the birds are well trap trained and know their surroundings, they should stick around. Keep them hungry and let out a small number of birds at a time. Watch out for the hawks. They can spoil the party. Good luck!

😆That's a good observation! Actually I was not surprised the first bird landed in the tree since she did it many times during the loft fly. Yes, some birds land well and some just seemed to still have a lot energy and did not want to land. The videos clips don't actually show how much more time they wasted in the air or on the roof. Hopefully they will improve as the season progresses. It was the first race for some of them since I had to rotate the team to give every bird a chance. They did pretty well overall.

@@blancloft yes he was i got him going again for the next season timed him in 4 times and sent him back to the same race point where he recieved all his injuries once again it was a smash race only 9 birds home on the day and he was one of them runing 3rd in the federation out of 8000 birds and first in the club he went straight in to the stock loft

@@MOUATOLIFE the red and the two whites fly well. They were among the first group coming back from the toss. I’m impressed.
