Thanks! Yeah, maybe. But I’m equally happy especially with those 2022 and 2023 birds that had never raced before. To be honest, I did not expect that silver to come back the first. He usually does better with longer races. I think his body weight is very good and hopefully other birds will get into the grooves as the races go on.

Your calling tones and short calls sound like a sparrow hawk but maybe it’s just my hearing,I just signed up , and really like your lofts, am 75 year old and have carpenter work all my life and looking at your doors you must have sanded them ,vary nice
.My loft is higher than my house and my landing boerd also.I also have barriers on the front and sides of my loft. The birds hit direct landing board from the races and the two scanners are directly under the landing board so it is instant clocking as my birds do not fly arround and WASTE TIME after they arrive from a race.You need to improve on those things.

Yes, I agree. Some times they trap faster when the hawks are not around. I’ll see how to improve their trapping. Thanks for commenting!

Yeah, it could help. I have a couple of them. It's hard for me to use a dropper while filming. I'll have one handy for tomorrow's race.
