I have read and seen the many tragic stories and accounts about different parties trying to climbing k2. These guys now at the top probably climb k2 when he's asleep. Ofcourse, the ups and downs to any achievement are usually forgotten and not told. Only a bigger heart and character supersedes all the odds.Congratulations to your team.

Can we just get one thing clear...you don't "conquer" K2. If you're lucky the mountain grants you safe passage and spares your life. Please don't lose reverence for the mountain.
I was about to comment the same thing. A human claiming they conquered a mountain is like an ant conquering an oak tree. The mountain only gives you a day pass.
Mountaineers: enjoy the souvenirs like the view from K2, the adventure, media coverage, a trophy (certificate), monitory rewards through RUclips views, and lot more..... K2: gets the cigarette butts, a lots of garbage...... empty food cans, oxygen cylinders, dangling ropes, sometimes dead bodies..... What a painful reality
I am smoker myself but i thought similar like you that on top of K2 where lungs already have tiny oxygen, smoking is worse idea....but yeah addiction os worse....even i will do that same.... especially after so hard work after climbing, few puff can relax mind😂😂 and mental satisfaction is necessary for addict person..... otherwise who know during descend, addict person can make mental mistake.

K2 looks more dangerous than Everest even from far, yesterday Everest temperature was -27 Celsius and K2 was -61 it's not in the same category of climd.
