    Agreed. RB is no longer an issue. OL is not an issue. WR (when healthy) is not an issue. QB is not an issue. Defense/coaching TBD 😂

    • @PewterReportTV
      @PewterReportTV  13 дней назад +6

      Yeah, he's got to be better at drafting pass rush help. That's got to be the next focus. Of course the coaching needs to improve, too.

      Pass rush is better when the team has a lead. A good offense that kills clock and score at will can help a defense.

    SR you should ask Licht what flipped the switch in how he evaluates RBs cause obviously he changed something in his evaluation process. 5 misses to 3 straight hits

      Good question and I will do just that!

    • @davidrobinson3154
      @davidrobinson3154 13 дней назад +1

      RB is the easiest position to evaluate, and RoJo was good. Problem was probably the o-line, which Licht was responsible for

    • @Heezo813
      @Heezo813 13 дней назад

      @@davidrobinson3154 RoJo struggled to grasp the playbook that's why he barely saw the field his 1st year. He also was a poor pass protector. Licht not responsible for that

    Well put. That's why I wasn't as worried when Mike and Chris went down as people might think. with three pass catching RBs and Cade Otton, the Bucs have weapons still

    • @PewterReportTV

  • @kapttainK
    @kapttainK 13 дней назад +3

    Yeah he has finally gotten the running back position. Very good. But I would like to have a very good defensive end that can actually get sacks. And short of trading for somebody. We haven't been able to draft one. A true threat at defensive end. Hopefully this upcoming draft will be able to do that

    • @PewterReportTV
      @PewterReportTV  13 дней назад

      Like I said at the end of the video - that's it. That's the next position he's got to overcome in the draft.

  • @realtordavidzusman4673
    @realtordavidzusman4673 12 дней назад +1

    Now we only need Jason Licht to learn how to draft edge rushers, how to draft guards and learn that free agency should be used to cover holes that are unlikely to be filled during the draft.

    • @PewterReportTV
      @PewterReportTV  12 дней назад

      Agree on the edge rushers. I think Licht has done a reasonably well job of drafting guards considering Ali Marpet, Alex Cappa and the improving play of Cody Mauch.

      @@warrenjoseph76 exactly! I like rachaad as a pass catcher he’s an elite pass rusher but the way Tucker hits the hole and his speed makes him a home run threat. We should use Irving and Tucker mostly imo

  • @doug66100
    @doug66100 12 дней назад

    Mr. Reynolds, we hit the jackpot with our RB room, please don't overlook Cade Otton. This young man has stepped up, shown out, been taking some brutal hits catching the ball. But yes, White, Irving and Tucker have stepped up big time. I would go as far as lining the up at WR, just for different looks. Like very much with what GM Licht has done with the offense side of the ball but we need him to replicate that on the defensive side of the ball! We need to find a Sapp, Brooks, Rice, Barber and Lynch again. That's our problem, no consistent pass rush with the front 4 and that throws the LBs and secondary out of whack. LFG Tampa Bay Buccaneers!

  • @realtordavidzusman4673
    @realtordavidzusman4673 12 дней назад +1

    Also, this last draft could have been better if Jason Licht had picked Jalen Wright instead of Bucky Irving. We still don't have a RB that can take it to the house. Other teams need to play protection differently against RBs that can take the ball all the way in one play

    • @PewterReportTV
      @PewterReportTV  12 дней назад

      Jalen Wright's longest run is 20 yards. Bucky Irving has THREE runs of 30+. I'd rather have Bucky based on what I've seen so far.

    When you have 10 years to do it, the broken clock will get some hits.
    The problem is he shouldn’t be using all these high-mid round picks on RBs. Even the hits are bad value. Esp hits that will never be able to practice because of a lifelong toe injury.
    Imagine if we had extra premium 3rd rounders on the cheap in the secondary/pass rush instead of RBs that we’re struggling to find proper playing time for.

    We have good edge rushers but they don't have time to work due to coverage liabilities. The QB is able to get rid of the ball quicker because we're playing off coverage and the middle isn't being protected. Also we don't have a safety that strikes fear in the pass catchers because they're small and usually blitzing or out of position. The MLBs are also small and out of position. Hopefully they're able to work towards fixing our liabilities on defense now that they're super obvious

    • @michaellaroche3418

      I don't think it was the RBs tbh, that's the easiest position to evaluate by far. Licht rarely gives the o-line any love, and outside of Arians and Cohen our offensive play calling has been abysmal
