Nice car, I have 2018 N Carolina detective Charger Pursuit AWD, here in upstate NY. Threw some new Firestone Firehawks on her, and holds roads like glue. And still fun to drive with traction control off in snow😎
That’s awesome! Congratulations! Thanks for watching my video on mine! 400 idle hours is amazing! Wow the non vinyl back seat I think is super rare! Super cool you were able to get a detective vehicle!
Excellent video! I love the police wheels, the column shifter and the V8. You can't get the V8 with the regular hood and grill in a civilian Charger. I bought a base V6 SXT to get this look.
If I’m correct (unless it only applies to all Ford Police Interceptors P71’s) the certified means that the brakes are Certified Calibrated/Calibration. Which should be included to all Dodge Pursuits and Chevrolet PPV/Police Package Vehicle. Also you should put a nice exhaust system too.
Charger Pursuits have calibrated/certified speedometers. Nothing to do with the 14.5" BP9 monster brake package, that they came with. (certified speedos make easier convictions in court)
It’s got roughly 67,000 kms, and only 900 ish hours. It has he normal hemi tick in person, I noticed when I was editing the video it sounds way worse lol
@@goofy8649 You’re right! It’s not, I only bought the car a couple months ago and I had it throughly inspected by a Chrysler dealer. Hemis are a funny engine, they make tons of noise even when brand new!

Also if you want to prevent the dreaded hemi tick, don't idle a lot and get a high volume oil pump like the melling 10452HV
I liked this tour. The Charger and Durango Pursuits are easily the meanest looking cop cars
Thanks for watching!! I totally agree, the Durango Pursuit is such a cool looking police car as well!
I just got one with 400 idle hours. Believe it is a detective vehicle as it doesn’t have the vinyl back seat.

looks so mean i love it!! awesome video
@@avaborys-walker8620 Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it! 🙏
You've got the terminal cam tick from idle

@@moonbeamskies3346 Thank you, I really appreciate it! I’ve driven a couple SXTs they’re awesome cars, and they definitely look really good!

Ive got one. Delete the mufflers but leave the resonators, it sounds great but not obnoxious.
That’s awesome! Thanks for watching! And thanks for the advice!
Let's see your best exhibitionist driving!
R there alot places in the east that sell police vehicles, here in Alberta their hard to find.😎🚔
There aren’t a lot here either! I honestly just got lucky finding mine! Was a right place, right time kind of situation!
Right on chargers awesome especially the AWD.myself I own a Crown Victoria ppv interceptor,2010 white in color with bull bar and antennas.
@ That sounds like a super cool car! The crown Victoria will always be the most iconic police car of them all!
you dont do a startup video inside the car, you do it by the exhaust
Thanks for watching!
Sounds like the famous Hemi tick? How many miles on the car? How many idle hours?
It’s got roughly 67,000 kms, and only 900 ish hours. It has he normal hemi tick in person, I noticed when I was editing the video it sounds way worse lol
I don't think that's actually the lifters failing. Hemi's just make that sound. Can't tell from the rear though.

@@goofy8649 Significant idle hours like with a police unit contribute to lifter failure.
@@stevesmith6236 100% agree, these cop cars might have low mileage but probably have been idling 90% of the time.
