It’s pretty hilarious how the Red Bull had this big dip in quality in the middle of the season but Max is now gonna be the only driver to score over 400 points this year. It’s a testament to Red Bull as a team but also Max being so consistent this year and finding ways to maximize the car even under imperfect circumstances. Even in a super chaotic race like this Max was the only one who never panicked and didn’t allow too many slip ups despite 3 safety cars. Don’t take him for granted because the man might just outright retire randomly because he’s just grown tired of F1 and the FIA.

The confidence and the ability to deliver on the threat has got to have had some psychological effect on Russell even though he may not like to admit it.

I think if George has a championship winning car his and can fight max it'll be more fireworks than with lewis in 2021. Max at least respected lewis despite all the incidents we had but max doesn't have any gor George so imagine them fighting for wins next year but it'll depend on merc making a good car. With lewis I'm just waiting for 2025 at this point.

I think Luther is a masterpiece, tv off is goated but it will become overplayed eventually, Its good that we have the snippet out and its pretty good imo, hey now is a banger, and man at the garden makes you question your existence. These are my favourites but it would be impossible to choose one. I'm not a Kendrick glazer by any means but this album as a whole is very very good

I know most drivers complain on the radio but Lawson is really doing the most.I think he is just really desperate to get that red bull seat and he hasnt been in such a high pressure environment for that long, but I think he needs to evaluate what things are really worth complaining and making a fuss about.
I think you played down ferarri this year a bit. They’ve been good majority of the year. They had a few stinkers. But mostly they’ve been 2nd or 3rd. Only a handful weekends they’ve been the fastest though which is impressive. And one redbull consistently nowhere assists every other top team haha

Nah Max would body George. Just look at how the latte boy got scared and lost two positions at the start, highly unusual for him to fumble pole. I saw Monaco but not Miami... maybe I was becoming a fan during Imola or prior... and I didn't always get to watch the races. So this was my first watch of Verstappen maintaining a lead the whole time I think. Memes about Max from 2023 are the reason I got into F1, so I'm default inclined to like Verstappen more. man. 2023 was a sleeper of a year. max lead and won almost every race after baku(perrez won 2 believe it or not and then max bullied tf outta him for the rest of the season. wtahc a vid on it) and he won it by a literal mile or 2. he was 20 secs ahead in a race where the laps are 1 min 20. this year was possibility the best year in formula 1 I've ever watched where 7 drivers won at least 2 races(as usual perez is the odd one out, everyone from merc, ferrari, mclaren won at least twice)
Checo didn't start at the green like because he was asked to try the new setup with free air, by being last, bruh. Props to him tho, the setup was the one used by verstappen a few hours later.
He could have still moved into the track and let Colapinto pass. There was no sense in hesitating at the end of the pit lane and have Colapinto pass him there. You also have to move because the medical car tends to be last after a start, and it is suppose to follow every car, even those starting in the pit lane.
Red Bull just have him there as a guinea pig. Whoever inherits that seat next, I don’t think they’ll be worse. But I also don’t think they’ll challenge Max like crazy either. Once Checo’s gone, they’ll still do those same experiments on the second car - regardless of who is driving it

Race direction this week was such a joke, debris visible to literally everyone watching in the only overtaking zone on the track and its left for lap after lap, ends up ruining 2 drivers races and the saftey car is only called AFTER those 2 cars limp back to the pits and change their tires. Yeah the "Wing Mirror" race,, p Tbh it was farcical......i'm totally against this "new" format of drivers on out/warmup/slow laps being allowed to crawl around the track the speed differential ie "specific energy" imho makes it uneccassarily dangerous period and i still believe this will change when an incident forces the FIA to rethink this ridiculous format.. , As well it's interfeering with drivers lap times, and basically making qual somewhat of a lottery, then again i'm totally against DRS, i think it makes the ethos of racing less skillfull, and i also don't like these new look tracks with ridiculous runoff areas , which has changed the art of overtaking for the worse... But getting back on point this race should forever change it's name to the "wing mirror race"........though i still can't understand why the Sauber driver seemed to intentionally drive totally offline and go over the hazard?? and they didn't mention this either, ..which led to the punctures and everything else that followed EDIT well actually i called the Norris penaulty imho it was a slam dunk,, the video evidence proves it, and the whole point is one of safety he ignored this so guilty as charged.....no confusion whatsoever. the only surprise was the length of time it took them to announce the inho inevitable pen, i wouldm of been baffled if nothing had been done, more to the point.
As a loyal Tifosi since 2017 I will unfortunately say Ferrari aren’t winning the constructors championship for 4 reasons. Canada and Silverstone they might’ve been able to score at least 10 more points from those races. 3rd Carlos lost 12 or 15 points by crashing in Baku. 4th Ferrari had good pace in Singapore but with Carlos doing a Stroll in qualifying he nor Charles could set a good lap. Causing them to fight through the field losing race time. If they qualified where they should’ve they might’ve gained 15 or so additional points. If Ferrari stayed on top of their strategy and Carlos didn’t identify as a Canadian for 2 races Ferrari would absolutely win this championship!
It's the season of not giving proper sendoffs. Ricciardo and Ocon got the dubious experience. Half of the FIA got sacked. Dan Fallows got sacked. And who knows how many more have been in that boat. I'll be looking at Mercedes and how they deal with Lewis leaving.

I mean, he helped max in the last race of 2021 to win the WDC, and he always proved to deserve a top F1 seat. Why don't we just decide to investigate a little and try to find out why is Checo suffering so bad? - Did he had the same upgrades as Max had? No, instead Max had an illegal tool of asymetrical braking for a year and a half until Zandvoort 2024 - Did the useless strategy help lately? No - Did the race Engineer help? No, Bird is the worst Engineer in the last decade, Woody did a 1000 times better in 3 races than Bird in the last 3 years Another point to call out is that Red Bull does not have a Chief Race Engineer to split out data between 2 drivers, (GP is, but his main role is to help Max) the only team that has the issue in the entire F1 history All that is going on for a reason! You won't see this in the media Btw, Checo had a stunning performance during the qualy and the entire race with the shitty car the team gave him and without the transmission failure (this is not his fault) he could have finished P4 or P5 Despite the team. 1:59 to be fair, there is something different in this race: drivers were using Push mode for tyre preparation laps due to the low temperature. It was truly dangerous for Max to stay on the racing line when someone was approaching him quickly from behind in push mode. So the penalty was justified in my opinion.

Double yellow is way more serious than just yellow...Some of history of the F1 with yellow flags and people not respecting it, just to remember them, rules changed after a driver passed away for this kind of stuff, and it was because one driver wasn't respecting it and gaining advantage so others didn't respected it neither, everyone were running in that sector and the tragedy came after that. So yeah, very well deserved penalty.

Masterclass from Lewis honestly. Qualifies 6th with rus at 2nd. Has a false start. Goes off track under no pressure (lap 28 iirc) . Makes the same error he made in miami sprint and forgets to turn on the pit limiter. Has an absolute mental breakdown wanting to retire the car, is rejected by the pit wall, threatens to turn it off at the pitstop, is reminded by bono that he will have to serve a penalty next race then proceeds to quietly drive off and finish P12. Race direction this week was such a joke, debris visible to literally everyone watching in the only overtaking zone on the track and its left for lap after lap, ends up ruining 2 drivers races and the saftey car is only called AFTER those 2 cars limp back to the pits and change their tires. Yeah the "Wing Mirror" race,, p Tbh it was farcical......i'm totally against this "new" format of drivers on out/warmup/slow laps being allowed to crawl around the track the speed differential ie "specific energy" imho makes it uneccassarily dangerous period and i still believe this will change when an incident forces the FIA to rethink this ridiculous format.. , As well it's interfeering with drivers lap times, and basically making qual somewhat of a lottery, then again i'm totally against DRS, i think it makes the ethos of racing less skillfull, and i also don't like these new look tracks with ridiculous runoff areas , which has changed the art of overtaking for the worse...
But getting back on point this race should forever change it's name to the "wing mirror race"........though i still can't understand why the Sauber driver seemed to intentionally drive totally offline and go over the hazard?? and they didn't mention this either, ..which led to the punctures and everything else that followed

As a loyal Tifosi since 2017 I will unfortunately say Ferrari aren’t winning the constructors championship for 4 reasons. Canada and Silverstone they might’ve been able to score at least 10 more points from those races. 3rd Carlos lost 12 or 15 points by crashing in Baku. 4th Ferrari had good pace in Singapore but with Carlos doing a Stroll in qualifying he nor Charles could set a good lap. Causing them to fight through the field losing race time. If they qualified where they should’ve they might’ve gained 15 or so additional points. If Ferrari stayed on top of their strategy and Carlos didn’t identify as a Canadian for 2 races Ferrari would absolutely win this championship!

What I don't really get among everyone it's the hate on Checo. I mean, he helped max in the last race of 2021 to win the WDC, and he always proved to deserve a top F1 seat. Why don't we just decide to investigate a little and try to find out why is Checo suffering so bad?
- Did he had the same upgrades as Max had? No, instead Max had an illegal tool of asymetrical braking for a year and a half until Zandvoort 2024
- Did the useless strategy help lately? No
- Did the race Engineer help? No, Bird is the worst Engineer in the last decade, Woody did a 1000 times better in 3 races than Bird in the last 3 years
Another point to call out is that Red Bull does not have a Chief Race Engineer to split out data between 2 drivers, (GP is, but his main role is to help Max) the only team that has the issue in the entire F1 history
All that is going on for a reason! When will we stop to listen to a racist called Helmut Marko and his BS? You won't see this in the media
Btw, Checo had a stunning performance during the qualy and the entire race with the shitty car the team gave him and without the transmission failure (this is not his fault) he could have finished P4 or P5 Despite the team. The team doesn't have enough arguments to fire him (sponsors is just an excuse) because they know they've been sabotaging him every Single time. Like it or not, he will stay, and as soon as he gets the same car as Max we will have the chance to have some equal momento between Max and Checo like we did at beginning of 2023 (Australia 2023 was a perfect point to see that Checo was sabotaged DELIBERATELY)

1:59 to be fair, there is something different in this race: drivers were using Push mode for tyre preparation laps due to the low temperature. It was truly dangerous for Max to stay on the racing line when someone was approaching him quickly from behind in push mode. So the penalty was justified in my opinion.

Double yellow is way more serious than just yellow...Some of history of the F1 with yellow flags and people not respecting it, just to remember them, rules changed after a driver passed away for this kind of stuff, and it was because one driver wasn't respecting it and gaining advantage so others didn't respected it neither, everyone were running in that sector and the tragedy came after that. So yeah, very well deserved penalty.

Masterclass from Lewis honestly. Qualifies 6th with rus at 2nd. Has a false start. Goes off track under no pressure (lap 28 iirc) . Makes the same error he made in miami sprint and forgets to turn on the pit limiter. Has an absolute mental breakdown wanting to retire the car, is rejected by the pit wall, threatens to turn it off at the pitstop, is reminded by bono that he will have to serve a penalty next race then proceeds to quietly drive off and finish P12. This "retire the car" schtick coming from the guy who tells kids to never give up is such jokes. Generational 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
That being said, Lewis Hamilton should overtake Max Verstappen at the last lap to win the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the same way Max Verstappen overtook him at the last lap to win the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, while McLaren becomes the constructors' champion for the first time in 26 years!
