Hopefully even Verstappen in his wiser years will recognize that & acknowledge him.
Absolute legend Hamilton is, what you said is why I still believe that he can be an 8 time champion. Ferrari will do him justice. Also, I was there at the British GP this year and what you said about it, just made it one of my greatest memories. Keeping doing what your doing and here’s to a great 2025 season.

my issue with the 2021 Abu Dabi GP has always been that I have never understood why Masi didn't allow lapped cars to overtake on lap 56 after the track was cleared up, I will admit that if that happend it would still be a really hard loss for Hamilton, but just the way that it happened was so messy and has done a lot of harm to the sport ever since.
I have a feeling next year with Ferrari will be the year Hamilton gets his fairy tale ending. Winning a record breaking 8th championship and bringing a championship back to the Scuderia after 17 years. Watch this space

Would like to throw some light on 2016, FIA had banned the dual clutch system and merc struggled a lot in fixing. Lewis start was hampered due to this. Lewis had problems in 12 out of 21 races and the rest he won. A majority of them were engine, Nico only had engine problem in Monaco only.
I don't agree about Schumacher wasn't the same driver he was in his Merc stint. I didn't see Schumacher lacked performance supports e.g., energy, movement capacity, reaction times, spatial awareness, mental strength, and etc. required to support his talent demand to show his absolute best.
IMO, Mercedes favoured Rosberg in 2016. The most suspicious point to me is that, at the beginning of that season, Toto forced Hamilton and Rosberg to swap their mechanics. I can’t recall any other driver who had just won two consecutive wdcs being treated that way by their own team. At least, Ferrari never did this to Schumacher, and Red Bull didn’t do this to Vettel or Verstappen either. Additionally, personally, I also don’t agree with the claim - “Rosberg beat Hamilton in equal machinery”. The cars were NOT equal in 2016. At least, Rosberg’s car was much more reliable that year.
