for those of you who wanted carlos sainz, danny ric or (most of) the other drivers on the grid, here's a part 2! : ruclips.net/video/eAc1odUZVFs/видео.html
ugh love carlos. what a guy I gotta think for a bit, especially for some of the drivers I simply do not follow (like, respectfully, I know nothing about fernando alonso)
true! I feel like I'd want to recommend something with a character that is able to get along with literally anybody because that feels like carlos to me
what a fun idea!! the lando rec was both hilarious but also really sweet and i had no idea about charles' ... interesting dating history. sally rooney is perfect for him
I got into F1 only like 3-ish months ago, and I've been into reading books since forever so this is like godsend for me LOL. I'm so glad we all are here for such a niche group, and I'm excited to read some of these!!
if you want to read books ABOUT f1 i’d totally recommend aussie grit by mark webber and the formula by joshua robinson and jonathon clegg, i’ve read a good 10 books about f1 and those were the best by far. f1 racing confidential is also quite good!
@@hazelm3594 thank you so much for the recs!! I'm looking forward to picking them up hopefully sometime soon. I've been wanting to read books in relation to F1 so I'm thrilled!
This is such an original idea, love it! Such well thought out recommendations! It’d also be cool to do a video of book recs for F1 fans (with books that aren’t memoirs from drivers or engineers, cause that’s just too easy), if you’re looking for more ideas for this very niche F1-bookworm-combo audience^^
I never liked Sergio Perez because I just thought that he doesn't seem like a nice person BUT DAAAAMN this explains sooooooooo much! It's so crazy when you got a bad feeling about a person and then you're just right.
Loved the vid, it allowed me to learn more about the private lives of the drivers haha I was surprised to learn about the dating history of Charles. I knew he was in a 3 year old relationship before Alexandra but I didn't know he repeated kind of the same pattern. The way Charles story is told is usually focused on his father and Jules so it was interesting to see this focus shift. (Also I kind of see it ? I can imagine Charles being really popular with his looks since his young age and dealing with that in that kind of strange way) Ps: also I didn't dislike particularly Checo, I vaguely knew about a comment he made to Suzie when she tried F1 but I put it on the fact it qas a long time ago (even if it doesn't excuse those remarks) but with that I can't say anymore that I don't dislike him now
giiiirl!! u have a new sub, this is literally such a perfect video for me, I've been getting into f1 this season and I'm a massive bookworm, this is so unbelievably up my street rn!! gonna sit down with a meal and devour this video ty❣️❣️
OK woww back to comment having watched the vid, I completely am on board with all ur reasoning for why they'd resonate with ur recs, and I'm gonna check some of these books out they sound wonderful!! also love that everything new I learn about Oscar piastri is like the most wholesome thing ever (I'm an Oscar fan hehe)🧡🧡🧡 and omg, the audio book for lando bahahaaaaa, I fear he would never make it through the physical book bless 😭 and not checo being such a **** wow knew I didn't like him :| such embarrassing behaviour. I will be staying tuned for ur next vid!! ty for this masterpiece!! xoxo
I haven't been into reading for like a decade, but I sure as hell am into F1, and I was curious about the strange premise of this video when I ran into it. You're very charismatic and seem very thoughtful, so I thoroughly enjoyed the video from beginning to end.
I don’t know books super well, however, if you ever make a part 2 that includes Carlos, I want to bring up a very large part of carlos’ life which is the woman who helped and supported him, Maria de Villota. Not only her mentoring but her passing was super impactful to him. I’m not sure if there’s any books that explore that idea but I’d thought I’d mention that in case it sparks any ideas!
if charles leclerc wrote songs (with lyrics of course) they would be the male version of taylor swift lmao woah, again don't quote me on this, but im pretty sure they're engaged hah
@@readerrecords oooooh great question! i really loved 'the modern' by anna kate blair though that's set in new york, and the locked tomb series by tamsyn muir, which is a sci-fi series that is absolutely fantastic (though WEIRD). i've heard that eleanor catton's book 'burnam wood' is incredible but i myself haven't read it. wish i had more to recommend but i don't read as much nz literature as i like :(
I loved your video... my daughter shares your good feelings for McLaren as I am more of a Max fan - I feel his girlfriend's daughter is healing him from his trauma. I'll definitely pick some books you recommend
Hii just for the next videos(which are hopefully coming), the audio was a little quit so maybe closing the door would help with the sound or moving the micro or what you record on a little closer
AHH complicated question !! These days, I feel happiest when Oscar or Lando win, so I guess Oscar/Lando and McLaren, but that's partially because I want red bull to lose....
i started really disliking red bull after how they treated gasly and albon, but also helmut marko has made some pretty racist comments, and i think max is pretty whiny on team radios.........😬 (overall though max is not terrible, i simply do not like the team)
Sometimes you see a mother at McDonald's or at the mall who treats her child harshly, and you think she is a bad mother. But you don't see her at night, tucking her child in, cuddling and reading bedtime stories. In an interview on Dutch TV, Max talked about the many fun moments he had with his dad, cracking jokes and laughing in the car as they drove long hours across Europe to the tracks. Max is emotionally and mentally a very healthy and balanced person.

THE ALGORITHM DID ITS JOB. AUDIENCE FOUND AND REACHED!
The audiobook for lando 😭😭😭
Apparently Lando is dyslexic, so this is actually so real 😭
I feel honored, honestly, to have been recommended this video
I'm glad you liked it! It was so much fun to make lol. Finally putting my useless knowledge about the drivers to use!
Yeees, i'm sooo happy i got it recommended!!!
This is so niche, I love it haha 😄✨ what a unique idea for F1 fans x bookworms!
LOL there is a very specific venn diagram of people that this video is for
f1 fans x bookworms is literally the perfect way to describe this XD
as a reader and f1 girlie, this video def hit the spot!! hopefully we get a part 2 soon :)
Literally perfect recs, they fit each member perfectly
I’m gonna need a part 2 because I’m dying to see what you recommend for Carlos Sainz 🤭
ugh love carlos. what a guy
I gotta think for a bit, especially for some of the drivers I simply do not follow (like, respectfully, I know nothing about fernando alonso)
@@readerrecords Carlos is simply amazing! Any strategic, kind, well-spoken and empathetic character might fit him to the t!

soo true and I am here for it

i loved this!! u should do a pt 2 with book recs for f1 fans 💗✨

Superior video! Love love love the amount of thought you put into these recs👏🏎️📚
thank you!
I thought this would be a review of F1 books, still good video
I never liked Sergio Perez because I just thought that he doesn't seem like a nice person BUT DAAAAMN this explains sooooooooo much! It's so crazy when you got a bad feeling about a person and then you're just right.
I'm just so bummed he still has a seat in f1 tbh
loved your recommendations, added the last pomegranate tree to my wishlist
yay I'm glad you liked them! and yess I want more people to read that book!!
Man you really researched and basically made a 20 min video of a meme title!
I am nothing if not dedicated to the bit
love this idea!!! hope this reaches the grid hahaha
also the recs all seem pretty solid. *adds all to TBR*

I ALSO FALL INTO THIS SUBSET. Thank you, legend.
Subscribed from the first recommendation 😂❤ 🎉
No but like giggles aside the recommendations are really good though
HAHA thank you! i do spend too much time thinking about this stuff lol
Omg this is so awesome!! ❤️ I’ve been wondering where all of the f1 x book people are since they’re 2 of my favorite things 😂
hello and welcome! thank you for being my target audience lol
Yup here with my homies the ones that crave f1 and literature ❤ (on point indications and looking forward for pt. 2 😍)
