Perhaps because set design and miniatures require very different skills, and set design cannot take 4 years. Ara is very skilled at what she does, but that's not what Hollywood is for. She would have no control over what she does, no time to do the things we love to see, and no time to make any content for the people who watch her every week, and no possibility to keep up with her own store.

I have no doubt that Ara would be as skilled in set design as she is with miniatures if that's what she chose to do...lucky for us she chose miniatures!!!

I cannot undestand why the Hollywood industry still haven't hired this lady as a set designer. What a amazing job, Ara. A true miniature masterpiece.
She’s great at miniatures but I think you underestimated the different skill sets for full size filming props and overestimated her skills.
