I was really confused when I saw the clingfilm and foam but that's sheer brilliance simply pouring a plate and then building a plexiglass box around it. It totally removes the risk and high cost of a deep epoxy pour. It's also way more transparent. Beautiful job on the sculpt and paint too, very curious to see where you'll go next.

I admire the imagination it took to design this and the skill and craftsmanship it took to build it. Really great. My only problem is I don't know anything about the story. The land dwellers seem to be the good guys, but it looks like they don't have a hope against the big ships and the huge creature. Am I right ?

In the first movie, the main character is a kid who realizes that dragons aren't monsters but rather really intelligent animals, and as he learns more about them, he's able to befriend and train them through communication and positive reinforcement. In this world, the biggest species of dragons control and care for swarms of other smaller dragons, serving as both their rulers and (ideally) their protectors. The one featured in this diorama was captured as an infant and abused into obedience by its trainer, and now attacks whomever its trainer tells it to and controls other dragons as he commands it.

That was so smart to fill the lower levels of the diorama with expanding foam and cover it in an acrylic box! That would have been a fortune in resin and made it weigh as much as a small car. This was an awesome video❤🎉

That was so smart to fill the lower levels of the diorama with expanding foam and cover it in an acrylic box! That would have been a fortune in resin and made it weigh as much as a small car. This was an awesome video❤🎉
