I expect that you won’t likely see this comment, given that this video is 2 years old. However, I’ve been watching a few of your older videos in the middle of the night lately. I recently broke my elbow and can only manage sleeping for two hours at a time, Tonight my lineup consists of colourwash liberty quilts, this one, and neon is next. I find your voice to be like a warm hug. I hope that doesn’t sound weird! .
Thank you, Kate, for keeping me company in the middle of a restless night. 💜
    Stay well!

Those of us that have been with you since the beginning , love tour videos just as you do them. We love the quirky sense of humor and realism of your videos. Sadly one of the realities of getting a large number of subscribers,is that you often get haters. People whose lives are so terrible that they feel the need to try to bring down others who have found joy and success in what they do!
Pay these haters no mind Kate, you keep doing YOU, as that is why we subscribed to you to begin with.

Hi Kate. I started binge watching your videos last night and came across the ones of the EPP dog. I have tried EPP in the past with hexagons, and it nearly drove me crazy. But over the last winter I had total knee replacement surgery, and I started doing some small project hand quilting. I found that I quite liked being able to sit and do a hand sewing project and not always sitting at my sewing machine or standing at my longarm. So when I came across your EPP dog, I decided to try it. So far, I have seven of the squares basted and am enjoying it very much. And as soon as I can get everything together, I’m also going to make a journal using your method. Quilting and reading will always be my favorite ways to spend my time, but I am enjoying learning and trying new things from your videos. I’m from Louisiana USA.

Looks like both of you and I are doing the same thing, binging on old videos. Fairly new to Kate’s channel, and I’m loving it. And I always thought EPP would be too hard and frustrating, but Kate convinced me to try it as well. I recently started my own hexagon quilt about a month ago and I’m loving it too.!
Kate has inspired me to start a lot of new things. See you on the limelight green sofa. 😊

Oh Dear Kate... I feel your pain! 😂😂! Truly I do! I have blogged for years and years and now have started a vlog on RUclips, and I am so frustrated with how long everything takes. I don't have an editing program, I don't even have a camera, like you did I use my iPad, my phone, and my SLR...and really I don't have clue what I am doing.
In desperation I sat down in my studio yesterday, tore through every drawer and container I own and made some of my dress cards. I made enough to send some birthday greetings, but the mess in my studio lingers.... Love your box idea...have done that with boxes and containers...
Talk about tearing ones hair out...every time you lift that gorgeous box of Liberty scraps...my hands travel to my head!
Deep breath...hug a cat... Your day will get better!

Bonus video indeed! We do the same thing Kate when the universe, especially the technology universe, is thwarting us. Head for the craft table and pick up a lovely work in progress or begin a new one. Something to soothe jangled nerves and keep us from solving the problem with a hammer. Although hammering is very satisfying isn't it. I just picture myself doing it, and it helps with the frustration. I often need a frustration outlet, and this would be the perfect idea. I have lots of Scrappy bits I can't part with, and now I see how I can use them. Thanks for sharing this.

You and I touch hands across the miles. Here in Colorado Springs, Colorado, we too have a rather dreary day. Spitting water and turning it into ice and snow. And today, my four cats are staying in, just like yours. We’ve been finishing up some housework. I laugh at how cats offer to fold socks, but are bewildered when they can’t.
I’m a new subscriber and align with your common sense and wisdom. I love the Liberty fabrics! I’m currently working on a Birthday quilt for a dear friend and a baby quilt for a baby boy due in late summer. This baby will be another wonderful friend’s second Great-Grandchild. And that’s a clue to the fact that my friends and I are enjoying gray hair and wrinkles. *Sigh*
So, hello from Colorado and keep up the good work at fighting back those frustrating feelings!

Such a lovely sweet lady you are. Frustration can be good sometimes when it produces such a wonderful idea of making a beautiful box. LOL So glad your computer hiccupped that bug out of it's system and started cooperating. I enjoyed this video. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Vent anytime it’s needed! Better than keeping it in, festering. Pretty trinket box was the bonus!

Hi Kate well I'm enjoying your positive approach to frustration. It's given me an idea with all the square boxes I've collected from my Essential Oil deliveries and will put my 5" squares in preparation for my Flying Geese project. Thank you for the inspiration. Glen

Thank you so much for this video! I made a quilt for my youngest grandson's first birthday and used some large decorative letters to use as templates to appliqué his name on it. The letters were supposed to be painted, but I had his older siblings cut up bits of the leftover quilt fabric and they had a blast gluing them on the letters using your technique. It became their present to him for his room. They were so proud!

What a way to get your frustrations out - make something. I'll have to take your advise. My brother's advise to me when I was frustrated and vented to him one day. He said for me to go down to the river by my house and scream. I think that would have scared the wildlife that hangs out by this river. Don't want them to leave. So, I could do a silent scream and watch the river flow by to relax my frustrations. I'm thinking he was saying you need to take a break and remove yourself from the situation and find something lovely to look at. Maybe? Well, that is what I find that you do. Take a negative and make it a positive. I'm learning. Thanks for sharing!

melanie settle yes, you be kind to those critters! Most frustrations are about nothing important when you look back.... there is so much suffering in the world, I don’t need to add to it with my petty problems! Xxx perspective! ❤️

I would your video. I'm so sorry you are having problems with the videos. You handled it so well. Don't worry about who like the music or not. If it is the music you like, we will like it. I truly enjoy the videos. They brighten my day. :) You show us if we have a stressful day, we can make something. :)
