It is a treasure to know that this video was filmed in the town of my families origin. Though my parents moved away long ago and we lived away. My grandparents live in Wausau. Ive spent a great deal of my childhood in Wausau. It is even more meaningful seeing the shots of these officers on streets I've walked. It sends a message that they caretake what we take for granted. The interesting part is, I have been a law enforcement officer for 20 years now and only learned about what Qualified Immunity was this year because of all of the attention. I do not do my job based on qualified immunity, I do my job based on what is right.
