When fighting the bull at around 34 minutes you hit him for 7 because you had leftover mana so when the mana refreshed it "overflowed". Your mana carries over each turn, you don't have to use it all up if you don't need too
One of the main mechanics you didn't use was the ability to permanently change numbers on your own cards. Sure they get distorted but you were way ahead of the mist anyways. One really good card to upgrade is your crossbow, you can change it load a bunch of ammo all at once so that you can just keep firing it for 12 damage.
The unlocks further down the tree unlock some really cool things, like the ability to use the one dice in events and shops and stuff, really opens up more ways to break the game
I've not played the game but it looks to me like luck might be overpowered. It looks like if you have luck, any time you draw your "one die" card you can burn through all your die relic charges and then play the card to set the charge back above 0? And then it's just a matter of finding the cards that are the most broken with changed numbers
This game is so neat, I love the mix of the dice/with the cards. The style is so cute and the animations are so fresh, like the sling animation the rock has little googly eyes
Honestly this game looks sick! Not sure why this was recommended, bcuz this is so different from what I usually watch, but glad yt showed me this regardless
33:50 You ended a turn with 5 mana and 5 mana capacity. At the start of your turn, you gained 3 mana. There was no spare mana capacity, so mana overflowed and was lost. This triggered te pirate relic to hit for 7 three times
I love how you decide to base your deck around Miracles and drawing, draw a miracle violet smoke, then look at it at 39:00 and still pass the turn not playing it.
Olexa, amazing video, you rock, my favourite youtuber that I always come back to after a long day, but brother, I gotta tell you a tiny thing, sounds petty but at 4:46 you could've striked converted a crossbow then used the other, thats p much it heh sorry for wastinf ur timen keep it up! im a bit late on this one cuz i was out of town for a few days without my phone cuz im an idiot but whatever ig, thanks again❤
The one for me that really changed the game was Touhou Lost Branch of Legend. It’s anime Slay the Spire but with Magic’s colored mana mechanic. It leads to such fun deck building where almost every deck is unique (assuming you dip into a Tri-colored mana deck)
49:41 he says after getting rid of the card that gives mana lol. I’m really excited to see you playing this (since it’s your fault i bought it with the first vid)
In the minotaur fight you gained mana at the beginning of the turn. That overflowed your mana to deal 7 damage. When that broke the minotaur's health bar you gained another mana to overflow again and deal 7 damage again. If you would love to play more, we would love to watch more.
Shaking my screen, in a very normal way, trying to communicate to the man in the distant past (over 24 hours ago) that he should reload before ending combat if he has the chance.
Hey Olexa/Tyler you probably won't see this but I watch your videos often because you're hilarious, have a great personality, and thirdly your voice vaguely reminds me of my friend Patrick's voice (PCraven) who I met through a discord sever for a band me and him both like, around 4 years ago now. One of my long term goals is saving to go visit and meet him irl. Obviously I know and respect you're your own person but it's nice hearing a similar American voice sometimes. Btw I'm from England
I know this is out of nowhere but any tips on starting a channel I’ve been thinking of going at it because seeing you have minimalistic editing and great engagin content from you ive been motivated realizing i can maybe do it too
Don’t be discouraged by starting. It’s a lot harder than it looks and takes years and years of practice and work to be successful. It’s a very fulfilling hobby/job but it is definitely a brutal one.
I think you could’ve rolled your mana cap and it fills up every turn, so for ex. You set your mana cap to 6 using the one die you’ll restore 6 each turn instead of 3, idk tho someone might correct me
Hey tyler i love in Italy, and i see your video's at night, you are a realy good youtuber. I would realy like to sub to your Channel but i am 13 and i do not realy have the money, but i Will support you Forever, i am Sorry that your views are going down, you deserve a lot more(please never stop making video's)
Subscribing on RUclips doesn’t cost money! And don’t ever worry about that, I’m just happy you’re enjoying the content :) (And my views are not going down lol, this is like the highest they have ever been)
You're not using free cards for some reason. It's pretty straight forward and easy to pickup the rules. I'm not sure why you are having trouble seeing the "cost" of cards.
@@OlexaYT Nah, you just missed them. The card literally uses up zero resources and reduces anything by 1-6. It's pure benefit. The comment is really just here as constructive criticism. After hearing the comment, you might be less likely to miss free cards.
I don’t blatantly clickbait and mislabel, I’m quite literally showing how the game is described on steam. Blame the dev if you don’t like the way I describe it lol
The little first-person animations for the cards are really unique, actually. That's a cool way of doing things.
I love it
I reminded of the perspective that chrono ark does with those animations
It was hilarious the first time I built power armor and put it on.

There’s sooo much going on in the game it’s easy to lose track. I’m gonna hop back in soon and try some of these tips!
the little icon on the map is YOU! noice!
Would love to see more demented plays like getting rid of all your block cards. Keep it up!
I remember when you first played this for the channel, hopefully it became at least a mini series in the future so you can truly test its limits
wth, 'The One Who Gave Me Dice' is so cute all of a sudden!
The unlocks further down the tree unlock some really cool things, like the ability to use the one dice in events and shops and stuff, really opens up more ways to break the game

brother inject the “This might sound crazy…” right before making a run-ending decision right into my veins
Diceomancer deserves its own little series, it's so funking dope
Loved watching this, as crazy as it sounds would also love watching more
Honestly this game looks sick! Not sure why this was recommended, bcuz this is so different from what I usually watch, but glad yt showed me this regardless
50:49 "Let's just pop random upgrades"
PLEASE DUDE LET'S NOT ACTUALLY
I was WAITING for this one! Thanks so much 🙏
I spent my whole Sunday playing this game. Lots of fun

More stumbling! More deckbuilding! I'm interested!
please play more of this awesome game

4:09 wait does this also use colored mana?
when he said in the Void Rains Upon Her Heart video that he'd thought about trying one of the toohoo games i'm not sure this is what he had in mind
Can't wait to see more of that game from you, I enjoyed that very much!
I definitely want to see more of this one!
This would be another fun game to see a series of.

The type of game I be dreaming about making
I was just thinking about buying this game, glad you made another video on it
Loved it would watch some more ! Have a great day !
As unhinged as it is, it really is an amazing concept and game
10:08 Oh my god the rock in the animation for Sling has googly eyes
Can't wait for another episode of it 💃💃💃
This game reminds me of Rogue Lords with the meta number changing aspect. Perhaps another game to check out at some point.
2:58 Or a Fleeting card, if you’re a modded slay the spire fan.
Shaking my screen, in a very normal way, trying to communicate to the man in the distant past (over 24 hours ago) that he should reload before ending combat if he has the chance.
19:00 throat wolf! It's a mythic magic the gathering card that never existed. The first magic the gathering meme. Great reference.
Advantage? Nah, we call that good luck.
Disadvantage? Bad luck.
38:45 has the ability to increase any number on screen, doesn't think to give himself more energy, instead 1 block lol.
Thanks I’ve been WAITING for this one sonde you played demo
41:18 when in doubt, snap all your block and your good cards

“Damage reduced by X, not Twitter” is hilarious
Amazing video, Olexa.
Reminds me of Genius invocation TCG minigame in Genshin Impact with the different colour mana system
The little animations remind me of Omori, and I love it
I like games that are like myself
More episodes please!!
Yeeesss. Im really hoping we end up with a switch version since i dont really play on pc, but im soo interested by it!
You know what, you were kind of cooking there. Just not hard enough
Insane game, I love it
@38 minutes in I was basically going why in the hell did you not crossroads your mana. Increasing by d6 means you'd have done a ton of damage
Increasing the charges on the prisma would have allowed to bombard him with so many overflowing mana attacks
Great video
i just saw your first video on this yesterday that’s ctazu
Keep playing this game
Would love to see mor eof this
Awesome!
Using The One Die in early combats to set your mana permanently to 6 (even if it takes a few die uses to get there) might be a way to go?
Super dangerous though. But yeah, maybe
does this game have a colorblind mode? i would love to play it but i cannot tell the diffrence between purple and blue
I saw your first video of this and I've been addicted to it the past week
I know this is out of nowhere but any tips on starting a channel I’ve been thinking of going at it because seeing you have minimalistic editing and great engagin content from you ive been motivated realizing i can maybe do it too

@ thank you so much for the kind words it means alot I’ve always knew it was gonna be rough but i guess if i never start ill never progress
Centaurs have 2 rib cages...
13:07 Jay Leno chin incoming
I think you could’ve rolled your mana cap and it fills up every turn, so for ex. You set your mana cap to 6 using the one die you’ll restore 6 each turn instead of 3, idk tho someone might correct me
Correct but rolling a 1 woulda crippled us I think. Or not bc it would have made our relic activate more lol
@@OlexaYTsounds like another potential episode 👀👀 block heavy deck with passive damage
Was the first enemy Alf or a wolf?
lmao

No Rungore in foreseeable future? It's not really a deckbuilding roguelike, it's a real time card roguelike, very unique stuff
I’ve done a video on it! Peculiar game, fun but the devs are kinda weirdos
@@OlexaYT you're also a weirdo
Also true
@@OlexaYT oh rly? (upd: yep found it) recently it fully released tho, stuff have changed a lot since
my brain hurts
YOU DID IT YOU DID IT THANK YOU MWAH MWAH
also jsyk dude changing the mana number is literally an amazing play in this game
mist is scary but if you go into it theres some special rewards you can get for tough challenges
Nahhh wheres more Ballionaire ! haha
The demo isn’t even up anymore lol. It’s not possible to play it right now
@OlexaYT xD MORE!
Duck quack quack
You do 21 damwge a turn if you played no cards after the prism
I like hinges
You're not using free cards for some reason. It's pretty straight forward and easy to pickup the rules. I'm not sure why you are having trouble seeing the "cost" of cards.
I probably had a reason for not playing the card. Free doesn’t mean it’s the best card to play
@@OlexaYT Nah, you just missed them. The card literally uses up zero resources and reduces anything by 1-6. It's pure benefit. The comment is really just here as constructive criticism. After hearing the comment, you might be less likely to miss free cards.
finally!!
Are you sure this isn't a Roguelite instead of a Roguelike? It seems more Roguelite-ish to me.
Potato potato at this point
Wow, you've finally done it. A game that's *actually* a roguelite instead of blatant clickbait and mislabeling. I thought I've seen it all.
I don’t blatantly clickbait and mislabel, I’m quite literally showing how the game is described on steam. Blame the dev if you don’t like the way I describe it lol
Wish it was on switch, tho, but Big Red is horrible to most great indie devs.
Switch development is also just a lot harder than you think. Less to do with Nintendo, more to do with funding recoding an entire game is hard
Makes sense, hope the dev receives his well deserved success.
I can't believe he's so bad lol
