Sensei Wu is missing in the new Ninjago Dragons Rising show - did he pass his powers onto the new Ninja Arin?
What do you guys think? Is Sensei Wu still out there?
I don’t think he’s there because we really did see his ghost huh (but at the same time that could be the first spinjitzu master confused because of the merge and looking over the land he created) idk it’s just a theory
A game theory!
But arent wu and arin in the destiny’s bounty Lego set.
@@GreenyBeany-e3m the sets Are uncanon
No, sensei wu died in 2016, master wu on the other hand, is thriving 😂😂😂😂
This is the first time I am hearing this theory and I don't hate it.
Very interesting. 🤔
Hope not

I'd hate for them to replace Wu he was a big part of the show, you can't just replace him with some kid.
@evan_boithe only problem is that as far as we know Arin isn't related to Wu so he wouldan't inherate his powers
Also, when the merge happened, sensei wu said, “my nephew, I hope you’ll be a better sensei than I ever *was* “

Great theory’s especially since Arin basically (created) a new spinjitzu power by being able to throw it

@user-hp8xo6mq4i the movie isn't Canon, its its on universe
And the movie is very bad 👎👎
Creation, Destruction, Energy and Golden Power are likely so powerful that the only way to inherit them is from an ancestor, unlike how Euphrasia became the new Master of Wind
Yeah I agree I’m pretty those powers can only be inherited through family, not a random person. Plus it doesn’t really make any sense
Well it’s likely that you can pass on elemental powers to a thing or person of your choosing like how Zane was given his elemental power
@blue_lightning33 If the person's family is all dead or nonexistent then the elemental powers search for others people to give their abilities
@@PurpleNova678if that’s true how did Zane and Europhrasia get their powers then.
@@PurpleNova678incorrect if you don't have children then you can pass your powers on to anything and anyone at will and if you never do this when you die the element will find a new host by itself this was explained by a creator of the show later on in the series
That’s a smart theory get MatPat on this case (nice short keep up the grind)
IMO I don’t agree because he could only use creation because of his dragon blood, and relation to the FSM. I don’t think this power could be passed down, unless I missed something
Matpat quit RUclips
@@LilKnuxVr Ik it’s sad
@LilKnuxVr Oh, he didn't.He still does stuff just not theris
matpat sadly rejected ninjago in his time here
I think Wu is meditating like he did in season 1. And so he can communicate/go to the ninja's. I even think that he brought Cole to him, to be honest I think that like Garmadon or Skylor is with him. But that's just my opinion.
I really like the idea of him and Garmadon just hanging around.
They finally remembered wu weird powers that we never saw after season 1
he might be with faith in the first realm
@@Lloyd1728 ye that can also be true
Honestly, my theory is that Master Wu called Cole to go get Jay from the place in the Realm Of Madness.
I like this theory a lot. But, I doubt that Arin would get his power, unless Wu didn't chose anyone to inherit his powers.
Yeah I don’t know who he would pick though
I mean, sometimes it doesn't have to be specifically passed down like Euphrasia
@@LilToeNailious i already mentioned that
@@LilToeNailious he said that
Yea I agree, The First Spinjitzu Master holds the power of creation and The Overlord has destruction, those two powers has been passed down to Wu and Garmadon, The FSM's 2 sons, and in my opinion I think the powers "Creation" and "Destruction" can only be passed down to descendents of The First Spinjitzu Master because yk, he is the one who created ninjago.
I hope they haven’t killed off Wu… idk why I just have a passion for him, honestly my fav character
i dont think wu deserves such a weird ending aswell
I think Wu is communicating from some place
Maybe he is in the dragon realm because they crossed over
This is my headcanon. Either this, or he is dead after all. They haven't yet given us a reason as to why the Merge would kill him. If it killed Wu, then it should've done something to Garmadon as well. I doubt they'd get rid of Garmadon though. Not again.
But lloyd is the new Spinjitzu master and he is the grandson of the first Spinjitzu master. His power only got green cuz he gave the other ninjas their elemental power.so this theory doesnt make any sense.
In the first season Lloyd already had green powers and spinjitzu... they didn't get their full elemental powers(without the golden weapons) until like the third season of the show(whenever garmadon comes back and the overlord takes over
Meanwhile wu in the first realm chilling with faith and firstbourne:wtf what kind of drugs is bro in
You know the first realm also connected, right?
@@BloodmoonEDITZ then he's chilling in the area the first realm now inhabits in the merged realms
Yeah i don't think he's there
I'm pretty creation is an "Elemental Essence" like Garmadon's destruction. Like it seemed that all the Oni could use destruction and maybe every dragon can use creation. But idk how canon the term "Elemental Essence" and its lore really is anyway.
Yeah, creation, destruction, darkness, golden power, and energy are all elemental essences
@@OfficialFallenPhoenix I think energy is being retconned though...since one of the source dragons claims it as coming from them
which can't happen if its an essence
We know from previous instances that when an elemental master dies, it’s handed over to the next of kin or the element itself pics it’s new host. If the power of creation or Wu wanted to pic a new host, it would probably an established character like Lloyd. We also know it can’t just be any person, not even an existing elemental master. Because the creators stated if Skylar attempted to use either Wu or Garmadon’s powers, she would probably die. So the power of creation would most likely go to someone of the First Spinjitzu Master’s bloodline.
it was stated? skylar did use garmadons powers before.
@@shadow.dragon.decoded.2579and she almost died
There's nobody living in the first spinjitzu master bloodline that we know of besides Lloyd and Garmadon.
@@BloodmoonEDITZI know that Mistake was un oni, but how can misako be so old????
@@totitokatta123 I just realized that when you mentioned it
Honestly, Sensei Wu being dead explains why he seems to be a ghost now
Plus it explains all of Arin's unique powers
Spinjitzu is learnable by anyone. Arin invented the spinjitzu transference (idk what else to call it). Much like Sensei Yang invented airjitzu.
@@saphiregough1480 He didn't invent it, he just developed it
Yang practiced and moulded his Spinjitzu into Airjitzu
And besides, Misako proves that Elementless Spinjitzu is weaker than Elemental Spinjitzu
Arin is not weaker, he's unbelievable!
@@Archiver_Studioyeah but in season 2 part two he finally did a real spinjitzu tornado soo it wasn’t weak really he just needed more training and the ninja just didn’t even help arin
@@Giraffecutie His Spinjitzu is unique, it was self trained
Not trained by an already active user
That's why his Spinjitzu is so much stronger, it's unique
But hey, that's just a theory, a ninjago theory...
MatPat: Write that down write that down!
If anyone were to inherit the dragon power of creation wouldn’t it be Lloyd since he’s part oni and dragon
He was able to use the oni power of destruction but tapping into his rage and anger and he has tapped into the powers of creation when he had the golden power which I’d argue is the power of his dragon side also Lloyd’s elemental power of energy is him using the power of creation in a lower level way, him essentially using the raw energy of the power of creation without the ability to warp that energy into anything other than the energised plasma he uses in combat
If arin were to inherit anything from Wu I believe it would be strictly based in spinjitzu and not inherit the power of creation itself
That could lead to a cool mentor thing between Lloyd teaching Arin about creation since Lloyd used golden power for a time as the golden ninja
I think it would be better if he can no powers honestly. He has been hard on himself. So him realizing how much potential he has even without powers would be an amazing character arc.
Yea, it would build a different kind of character, a character that he already is. Also shows that we don't need fancy magic to be important/special.
Honestly, I think its better if Arin doesn't have a power. It makes him more unique as he relies solely on his Spinjitzu powers. Plus it pushes the message that you don't need powers to be a hero.
spinjitzu is a power though?
@@xxmension04xx47 it's learnable by anyone though. Elemental abilities are not. What brickbro here is saying is that we can all learn to be a hero instead of having been born one.

Morro's power didn't go to Euphrasia until his spirit was finally at peace, it might be the same for Wu.
Also, giving Arin a power would just take away from the theme that powers don't make the hero, which would suck😢
Maybe he won't be a hero
So Wu gave Arin his powers? Interesting
he didn't, since its physically not possible as Arin isn't a dragon or part dragon

The idea of Arin being the elemental master of spinjitsu raises alot of questions. Like what does that mean for Lloyd's status as "the ultimate spinjitsu master" and is Arin now destined to fight the overlord? Did the first spinjitsu master create the element of spinjitsu, we do now know elemental powers come from dragons and he was half dragon?
We've known elemental powers came from dragons since season 8
Doubloon also had golden spinjitzu despite having no element. Although, since Lloyd can not be passing on creation I guess it would be possible. I still hope they don't do this though. Arin brings value to the team, he doesn't need an element to prove this.
Wu ain't an Elemental Master (confirmed by show writer), he can't pass down his powers, and Golden Power is not creation, so Wu only inherited his creation part of his powers😭
Master Wu is a legend he says: NOT EVEN CLOSE BABY!
There is apparently a book that says Arin's goal is to unlock his elemental power i don't know if it's real or not
The way the team saw gold floaties is another way we can use his power , he’s in hermit mode in some mountain getting ready for a big battle or learning something crazy, like splitting his power which he taught the new comer or the split it between him knowing he would neeed it later during a fight
Great theory could be true
There is also a theory that Sora and Arin represent Oni and dragons, Sora represents dragons and Arin represents Oni
I don't really think so. They're trying to push this narrative that Arin doesn't need powers to be a hero. And honestly, if Wu were to die, they should have done that in Crystalized. I know Tommy didn't want a dark ending but still.
I've never heard this theory before. It's really interesting. It's easy to forget, buy Wu did have an elemental power and the elements got a grand reshuffle thanks to the merge, like with wind. Maybe when Arin discovers his full potential he is the one destined to create a new realm or to perfect the merged one.
I miss og Ninjago 😢😢
Me too😭😭 some of the best times when it Cole and his 🎂 Jay always trying to get with nya Kai being a hotshot and egotistical (he still is..) and "Zane like a machine don't change a thing"❤😭quote from the episode where they went to see coles dad the first time😢❤

Plot twist: Arun could be related to Master wu
How???
How?
The Ninjago and Lego Ninjago situation is a chicken or the egg type thing. If we say the sets are based off of the show, then we would have an interesting case. Master wu does appear in one set in dragons rising, that set is the dragon stone shrine. Therefore it would be fair to assume that master wu will make an appearance. But if it is the other way around, and the sets are based off of the show, then master wu is probably alive.
I went for an 1.5 hrs hike where my 10 year old told me the entire new series. Haven't a clue still but he was happy
It’s a good show. You should give it a try
25:24 The why bro just inhaled the ice cream cone was hilarious to me 😂
I thought Aaron has the elemental ability of Spinjitzu
I’m pretty sure they already spoiled the fact that master wu ain’t dead because he is in the new season 2 part 2 Lego sets, and he’s very much alive. Also I don’t especially like this Theory because while I am getting used to arin I never want to see him as a master wu replacement. Or the leader, it’s not that I hate him or anything it’s just that it’s always gonna be hard to see new people as the lead characters
I don’t think he’s dead as elemental powers are usually passed on to relatives as in family members Cole got his from he’s mother Kai from his father
nya from her mother Jay unknown Zane the elemental master of ice who is said to be he’s grandfather and so on Aron’s parents don’t seem to have elemental powers so it’s unlikely to have him inherit wus power I think master wu is alive but in a very far away place and he’s using his powers to create a spirt like body to communicate with the ninja
Wu got isekai’d
Title:
That time I got reincarnated as a teenage boy with poor hygiene
Arin cannot be the new elemental master of creation because creation is a power that the ones with dragon blood can use it
Wu is too important of a character for them to just get rid of. I think, if anything, they most likely have some major plans for Wu in a future season, similar to Jay
I don't think so. Creation isn't an element, so it can't be inherited by random people like Wind. Wu uses Creation because of his dragon blood, and so could Lloyd since he used Destruction in Crystalized because of his oni blood. Creation is something accessible only by who's got dragon blood or by the Elemental Powers of Earth, Fire, Ice and Lightning combined in harmony.
I don’t think Wu is dead they’d actually give him a good send off if they was to kill him off. Wu is probably somewhere with Garmadon and Pixel
I have a Therory that Arin has the power of Transfer bc he could transfer his spinjitzu into other objects so mamybe he could transfer elemental powers into people ( yes I know it doesnt sound like an element but so as tech and fusion)
Well, this theory is cool but i made a theory myself: sora may be 5% Dragon as she has a very unknown power, not even master wu knows it, and her power is given by Riyu (a dragon) and Firstbourne could be a ancestor of Riyu + we have the source dragons as Lloyd meets them in one of his dreams/vision and maybe Sora has a power made in the merge because its pink (if you look at the outline of the merge portals you can see that they are pink) and that explains (and it could be impossible for a dragon as young as riyu to give powers to a human). But its just that maybe sora has a different power of creation (but with tech) because she can create tech (and i mean a lot of it). And thats all. Correct me if im wrong or i forgot something, etc.
All the new powers like tech, fusion were created in the merge. Master Wu wouldn’t know the powers because, again, they were just created in the merge. And I think riyu just hastened the power in Sora, not created it
I swear, if Aaron is the green ninja
Not again 💀

I feel like Arin is the NEW master of Spinjitzu. Seeing the hints of Shatterspin could be a tell tale sign.

Ninjago was already doing this from season 4 with speed and sound and form and lightning
“With out any training” Arin actually did train. He self taught spinjitzu somehow through mimicking the Ninja moves and he has enough strength carry people and to hold himself up when using the graple gun
My theory is that Arin is actually the reincarnation of the First Master, which is how he taught himself spinjitzu
Oooooo, thats a good one
Coles baby : Ninjas never quit 😀 *sips tea*
I hope not
I’m old school and only really remember the early seasons of Ninjago, but the logic makes sense.
It connects everything from wu’s absence to arins yellow powers to wu’s spirit
honestly this is the best theory I've heard with Wu's spirit
This theory made sense to me the most because Arin was just a normal kid that can do Spinjitzu without teaching is kinda strange
I almost thought he was just some form of reincarnation of wus spirit
It's interesting but illogical since I distinctly remember someone else in the show having a gold spinjutsu.
I believe it was in the Pirate season.
that was my theory from the start, finally someone with the same ideas
I would be sad to see him go, but I think it'd be really cool to have him inherit his powers of creation. Side note, love that their "elements" aren't all basic, there's speed, metal, amber, and etc. It adds a lot to the world and powers.
It would actually be very poetic that Wu died at this point, because Wu has been alive for many many years, longer then his own father at this point, so if Wu did die during the merge and his power went into Arin then it’s kinda Poetic to show why Lloyd becomes the master and takes in his own ninja, that’s exactly what Wu did, Dragons Rising and the training Lloyd put Arin through is exactly the same from the pilot, so Dragons Rising is just the pilot, Arin wants to find the Ninja, the Ninja want to find each-other, this parallels Kai in the pilot, Nya was kidnapped by the Scullkins and Wu took him in and trained him in the Ninja way to help him find and rescue Nya which is what Lloyd is doing with Arin, teaching him the way of the ninja to help him find and rescue the Ninja and those he cares about
i saw one of the creators say on twitter that he has NO powers. though he didnt say he couldnt eventually gain them. to be fair, there's nobody left in the family to inheret Wu's element, so the only one of lloyds students without powers would be the actual perfect candidate.
That could be a fun concept that lego might explore in the future
The problem with this theory is the kid was born before wu disappeared
Sensei wu in the first realm chilling with firstbourne and faith:bro wtf is this guy on i aint dead

The new ninjago set leaks flipped u over dude, I’m still gonna think this too so I can savour the moment that wu comes back
In the Lego Ninjago movie videogame, the ninjas, including wu, can throw their elemental powers as projectiles in the form of spinjitsu. The spinjitsu is colored after their abilities and so wu has golden spinjitsu projectiles.
My headcanon: Not only did he inherit his abilities but also a sort of spiritual muscle memory but since Wu's spirit is still not an merged with him in a Avatar and Raava thing then Arin only has glimpses of what a master of spinjitsu can do hence why he was able to learn spinjitsu without proper training, he's got the power and memory (both mental and muscular) to use spinjitsu (think of it like how when Ben transforms into Grey Matter and he says or does something beyond 10 year old Ben's current intelligence and even Ben acknowledges that he doesn't even know how he knows what he knows and admitted that he wouldn't get it either if it weren't for him being Grey Matter.
It's sad to think wu could be deaf but I definitely love this theory and I think this is where they might go
Sensei Wu is not dead !
Sensei Wu will live forever ❤
It does make some sense. 1. The stuff that is Said in The video. 2. Arin’s costume/outfit is yellow/goldish, which is coincidentally The same colour as what Young Wu wore at one point.
Bro this show changed so much since I was a kid, the first part is always my fav, the current eps are good but still I like the first eps better
I tink that master wu is casting himself for a nother dimension
The golden ghost might also be the FSM, we've literally barely even SEEN much of him, he and wu could look nearly identical for all we know.
I think you might want to look a bit closer at Aruns gold spikes on his mask I feel like they represent something I an Easter egg to prove that Arun has the power of creation
Bro that this franchise was our childhood but dawg it’s a decade old now 💀😭 most of us were 8 to 12 watching this growing up those same people are now 18 and older like let it rest💀🙏💀🙏
If you think about it then the element of tournaments wouldn't even make sense because wu wasn't there.
New plot twist Arin betrayed the ninja to find his parents
I’m pretty sure season 2 part 2 already shown that
I dont think Arin inherited the full elemental power of Wu, but instead a little bit because Wu's powers were creation and Arin "created" a new technique of transferreing spinjitzu to an object. And just like he said its got the gold in em!!
BUT if he inherited the full power of master Wu he would have already found out about how to summon his elemental dragon.
What's an elemental dragon? (sarcastic)
Elemental dragons are deleted from the show after Sons of Garmadon.
@@WilliamTan-d2c oh did they? I forgot.
I can see this, seeing as the merge combined the 16 realms, meaning it's possible Arin got his powers and just hasn't unlocked them
The Ghost is the first Spin jitsu master keeping an eye on his grandson
Can't lie though it's a good theory but Arin could've not inherited he's not part Oni and dragon it would be most likely not since he's not the same flesh
Remember at the end of Season 7? Lloyd had the reversal blade, and he said they should hide it because it was too powerful. My theory has been that if they remember about it they might/could/if possible use it on Wu and turn him back to Normal.
True
Although I think it would’ve been A little anticlimactic if Wu died off screen, I wouldn’t be against this idea.
Well this would make sense if you think about it, because several of the original Elemental Masters appear to have passed their powers onto others. Very interesting theory!!
I think he has made some sort of astral form with his powers
Guys , think about , if you've watched the season 2 part of dragons rising , (i've just watched the reuploades)
you see that Arin eventually sides up with Raz , there are also vids on youtube about that scene , so there's no way wu would give some kid his power , that even an EVIL kid.
i actually had this theory before i saw this video glad theres someone else with this theory :]
I don't know.. the show literally states that Arin DOESN'T have an elemental power
I just hope its real, and then lloyd would adopt him. Perfect family
I like to think that Arin is the master of spinjitzu because he taught himself spinjizu and he can transfer it to objects
Crazy,CRAZY theory:
Since Arin and Sora respectively have a lot of symbolism for oni's and dragons,it would be very interesting to see Arin with Oni-like traits and creation powers as a villain and Sora with Dragon-like traits and destruction powers as Arin's counterpart and probably only way to defeat him
Arin and Sora are not related to dragons and oni
In the pilote he doesn’t change ninja’s outfit with his power.
In fact, creation is an elemental essence (like energy, destruction, gold power or darkness), not an elemental power. And when fsm died, his power just vanish… even if lloyd used it when he became usm, it was through his energy power.
So we have absolutly any idea if an elemental essence find a new master after his precedent user’s death.
